The Empire Hotel

In the morning(around 6am) a guy just open the door with some other card key. He found out the room was already occupied, but he never apologized instead, he asked “ Did you rent the room?” I already paid fully while I checked in, I thought he’s one of the staff of the hotel. Already gave my feedback in the morning, the hotel just don’t care and give no explanation or apology. Very unprofessional and not safe. If you’re going to travel alone, think twice before you book this hotel.

Location of the hotel was very central. It was just right at the Phu Quoc Night Market if you ever wanted to visit.

The hotel could use a little maintenance and some of the rooms we checked had broken furniture. The room we have stayed in flood the bathroom floor when we had the showering running and no privacy film covered for the bathroom door so you can basically see into the bathroom from the bedroom.

The location

The rooms were hot . The window had views of the metal tin roofs. The receptionist was not very helpful

The location was perfect. Clean and strategically located at the night market street. We were located on a high floor so we didn’t hear any noise from the market. Convenient. The help desk lady named Ms. Tran Thi Khanh Vy was kind and helpful despite the language barrier.

The lobby was quite hot and humid upon check-in even with the extra cooler fan. Air-con should be installed.

the bathroom was spacious and the shower was one of the best and strongest showers in vietnam. our room window was covered by my photo, so it was dark in the room.

our bedroom window was covered by a plastic photo that made the room dark. the window was in the bathroom.
