"Loved it !!! Would definitely book Again"

8.0

Lovely to stay in a historical building which had lots of character and was presented very well. The parking space sealed the deal.

Our apartment was next to the front door which slammed every single time other residents when in and out of the building. This caused loud noise for us which was acceptable during the day but at night when you’re trying to sleep definitely not so !!! I get it’s a listed building but wonder if there is a solution for this. Also the piano in the hallway may look good but sadly there we inconsiderate guests, who thought it was acceptable to attempt to play it when they came back in the early hours of the morning after a night out . The piano needs to go imo for that reason .

"Not suitable for a long stay"

7.0

Beautiful building and ideal location for the hospital

Not well set up for longer stays. Limited crockery, glasses etc so dishwasher not really used as they'd be no glasses or mugs. No replacement bin liners and small bins. Only one tea towel. No housekeeping so towels very wet after a few days. TV didn't really work for anything needing WiFi. Plastic plants all very dusty and dirty. Settee uncomfortable. Not many usefully positioned sockets and no shaver point. Toilet too close to hot radiator, had to sit sideways to avoid a burn. Unable to find hairdryer apparently available from description.

"Pictures look great, reality is very different."

3.0

The location was great for what we wanted. very close to the sports centre and only a 15min walk into Leeds centre.

The beds were very uncomfortable, mattress seemed to be shot to bits, seemed like it was second hand from the student accommodation! There were no spray cleaning products to use after making breakfast etc. The room has no air conditioning and with it being on the ground floor, we didn't want to open the window as it was noisy enough already. The location of our room in the building was terrible, we heard everyone going in and out at all times of the day. The communal light outside our door was on and off all night and because the door to the apartment has a rather large gap underneath, you could see the light coming on and off all night. You can't sit straight on the toilet either due to the proximity of other bathroom items, namely the radiator. The decor in the bay window needs some serious attention, looks as though it is leaking or has leaked in the past.

"Good"

4.0

The location is good, as well as the decor.

It is quite run down and not very clean in certain areas, especially the bathroom. It is a shame as it just seems it hasn’t been upkept since our last stay a couple of years ago.

"Near to the town centre."

7.0

The apartment was clean and stylishly decorated with high ceilings.

The lighting was bad. No option of having side lighting, just bright overhead lights. The room was chilly, no instructions for radiators, although managed to work out for ourselves in the end. Light shone under door from entrance hallway all night. Other guests tinkled on the piano in the hallway at 3am. Toilet positioned badly.
