Tabist Nisseiya Beppu Kannawa

温泉蒸気を利用して、地獄蒸し料理が作れる窯が3つあります。今回は自炊で利用させてもらいました。

Bonus : you het to experience as you wish the "hell steam cooking" (jigokumushi) from a free access kitchen in front of the hotel with three steam ovens. A great experience at a very friendly price

In the middle of area with most hot springs in Beppu. The receptionist was super friendly and mastered the way of using Google translate to tell us everything we know. The hotel includes a hot spring steam oven (amazing!), which we could use for free and we were told where we could buy ingredients for it. We stayed in the japanese style room, which was nice and cute with a great view over the town to the ocean.

We only stayed one night, should've stayed longer.

It was quite difficult to find the hotel at first. It is located in the Onsen area n also walking distance to restaurants. The staff is very helpful n friendly. Onsen in the hotel itself. Parking is free n near hotel.

Bed a bit small n no breakfast included.

it was in San excellent location in Beppu next to a bunch of onsens and places to eat. The staff was also nice and professional.

the plastic on the tea kettle was falling apart and when warming up it had a weird smell coming from it. also there were stains on the sliding panel and the table was water stained badly. it just needed minor touchups so that room would be nicer.
