Tabist Nisseiya Beppu Kannawa

Very nice staff. However, there was black mold in the bathroom, the entire place is closed from 10am-3pm, it's hard to find the staff even during "open" hours, and it's far from the train station. It is very close to all of the 7 Hells and some of the best onsen in Japan.

Within walking distance to the Jigoku Meguri tour and the infamous Hyotan Onsen. There’s a lift for upper floors and it even has a kitchenette. The tatami floor is very nice. The futon is comfortable. It was a short stay but it was nice. My room even has a balcony. Retro bathroom with no bidet.

The room keychain is too big. I wish it was smaller.

You can tell from the host's passion that he really cares deeply about this hotel, and for every guest who steps foot in here. Such a nice guy!

親子４人旅で地獄蒸しが出来る宿を探してお値段も安いしここにしました。近くにスーパーで食材も買え食器、調味料、も揃っていて地獄蒸しで美味しく頂きました。ご飯も美味しく炊けました。近くの♨️の無料券も貰えました。湯治場という感じで古さもいい感じで最高でした。窯も簡易的じゃなく味のある窯が使えたら、蒸しあがったらすぐ食べれるテーブルや簡単な椅子があったらいう事なしですね 連泊でゆっくりしたかったです。

Staying this hotel for 2 days was the best decision I made.it's really convient to go to spots and bus station and supermarket.and it's also quite at night and had good sleep.Manager is also very very friendly and warm,I can speak Japanese not too much,but when I was confused we can communicate throught translate apps.We talked much and gave me lots of information.I wish I could come here again. 真是一个宝藏旅店，去哪里都很方便，还刚好因为供热系统出现了问题，送了去葫芦温泉的票（这个地方算是当地最大的温泉场所了，所以之前也计划自己前往体验，小路过去步行也就3分钟。经理也非常热情有耐心，虽说他自己说不太擅长英语，但是也不必太担心，翻译软件也能帮你搞定一切的）。高层就能直接看到别府湾真是很棒的。

Great location if you’re visiting Hyotan Onsen etc. En-suite showers are a little small, and the hot water isn’t very hot (which is strange for a hotel with a hot spring). Not a big deal though because you could just go downstairs and shower in the on site hot spring. The Rooms had a great view of the city and the sea. Overall pretty decent place.

温泉は、源泉に近く、最高質で、人数少なくゆったり入れ、最高でした。地獄蒸し料理の体験もでき、大変おいしかったです。

Near the hell streams. Parking area near.

I suggested to put onsen etiquette pamphlet in the room. It would be nice to have hook for wet cloth in the anteroom

温泉があって、地獄蒸しもできてよかった。サウナの電気が暗かった。地獄蒸しのザルが痛んでいて、針金が飛び出していて危なかった。荷物も預かってくれて助かった。

のどかでゆっくり出来ました。
