The Leela Gandhinagar

Visited for dinner and it was a wholesome experience including service, food, ambience and the overall experience. The team headed by Rohit, Banti, Anuj and Sneha were all very hospitable.

Supervisor Mr. Rohit, Banti and Anuj provide us great service has been provided and food was delicious. Pleasure atmosphere. Every dish is thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The appetizers burst with freshness and perfectly balanced spices, instantly awakening your taste buds. The main courses are rich, aromatic, and layered with authentic flavors that feel both comforting and refined. Whether you choose a creamy curry, sizzling grilled specialties, or fragrant biryani, each bite reflects careful craftsmanship and high-quality ingredients.

My experience with The Leela Gandhinagar and Yatra was extremely disappointing. I had made full advance payment for my stay through Yatra well before arrival. However, at the time of check-in, I was informed that the hotel had not received the payment from the portal. Despite presenting clear proof of payment, I was repeatedly asked to resolve the issue from my end. As a guest who had already fulfilled the payment obligation in advance, it is not acceptable to be placed in the middle of internal settlement issues between a hotel and its booking partner. Once payment is made through an authorized travel portal, the responsibility of coordination lies entirely between the hotel and the platform — not the customer. This situation caused unnecessary inconvenience and significantly impacted what should have been a seamless experience at a premium property. I strongly expect both The Leela Gandhinagar and Yatra to improve their internal processes and ensure that guests are not made to face similar situations in the future. Very dissatisfied with how this matter was handled.

The property is excellent !

The bathing soap/gel isn't appropriate, lot of water is wasted to remove the soap from the body. Either the water quality in the bathrooms needs some kind of softening or change the soap quality.

Attended for dinner with family at Diya. Food was good but could do with a little more spice and flavour. All staff were polite and served us with a smile and knowledge of their food. The hotel is stunning although renovation work at the time meant we were restricted to not seeing the terrace or swim area. Treated a garba dance which happens every evening. All front desk staff very helpful and polite. Thank you.

My experience was amazing, the staff understands the client so well. I so truly cherished the support they provided in creating the beautiful moment at moksha where i planned to tell my father about my Joining the Army Marksmanship Unit next month as a sports psychologist… that you shruti and shivani the staff at moksha in leela for making the experience so beautiful

The room

I was travelling from Dubai and I had a bottle of wine with me. I was informed that I cannot get it inside. They should have informed the guest from the beginning. I will never go there again.
