Hyatt Place Phoenix/Downtown

Lovely hotel in downtown Phoenix. I stayed here the first night I arrived in Phoenix and it was so good I booked for the night before I left so I could be closer to the airport. I booked an accessible suite and it was lovely and clean. The bed is huge and so comfortable - I rarely sleep well in new beds but I had no issues in this room and the bathroom met my needs. The hotel staff are friendly and the breakfast was great and complimentary for world of Hyatt members. Overall a very enjoyable stay. The only thing I was missing was room service which I think would make the overall experience amazing as when I first arrived it was late and I wanted a meal - they do offer snacks down in the lobby but I wanted a meal so had to order on uber eats.,

I have stayed in a couple of Hyatt hotels and have always been impressed with each hotel. This establishment downtown was a great choice to make. There were many choices to choose from around the area but since I have had great experiences overall with Hyatt we decided to stay here. The expectations were right on point if not exceeded which included the staff friendliness, the cleanliness of the room, and the ease of breakfast in the morning. We had a wonderful and easy stay for our mini vacation.

Such a chaotic arrival with so many guests. No rolling carts available for luggage. Valet lost our vehicle and low ventilation in restroom.

Great location and great stay. Front desk staff was over the top friendly! Loved it! If the experience was good why do I have to type more?

Had a great stay at the Hyatt. Rooms were clean and updated, bathrooms are nice. Bed wasn't particularly comfortable and the view was terrible, but that's to be expected in a downtown hotel. I had a view of the parking garage across the street. Left a lot to be desired. Location is the huge win here, though. Easy access to Chase Field, Mortgage Matchup arena, tons of great restaurants and hang out spots. Overall a solid place and I would definitely come back if I'm in town again.

Well located and comfortable accommodations. The room was clean and fair size. Plank type flooring with a moderate sitting area. Mini-fridge in the room. Shower only; no tub. Nothing extravagant. Would stay again for the location, convenience.

The hotel itself delivered what I expected, albeit at a far higher price than other similar properties in the Phoenix area. But the service at this Hyatt Place was far inferior to that of other hotels in both this chain and tier, as well as that of competing properties (e.g. Springhill Suites). The checkout clerk was far more interested in the light for applying her makeup than in attending to early-morning departures, so a queue quickly formed at the only attended computer. The valets sent out a one-minute advisement but forgot to bring the car to the designated valet area, engaging in what seemed to be an interesting conversation regarding March Madness when we went to inquire 10 minutes later at their stand. No cash was accepted for coffee in the morning. All annoying, minor incidents that piled up unfavorably. I go to the Valley often from Northern AZ but will not be using this hotel again. Kudos to the room attendant who came immediately to make up the sofa bed. She should be in the lobby.

For the cost of the room I was expecting a little more wow from a hyatt hotel. Breakfast buffet was ok. Front desk not very welcoming upon our arrival.
