Hunter Lodge, a Bluebird by Lark

This is the best hotel for a dog that we have ever stayed in. They had ground floor rooms with access to a nice outdoor area for your pup. Dog rooms come with doggie dishes. Dogs were welcome in all areas of hotel except for tavern. The food at the tavern was excellent. We highly recommend staying here.

Really comfortable stay. Room was large, bed was nice. We stayed in a room with a patio and loved that we could just walk right outside and take in the view and wander around. The location was good, a relatively short ride to several hiking spots and attractions.

Another wonderful relaxing stay

This was a great place for my extended family to gather. There are two spacious common rooms. It’s in a beautiful location. I love the rooms with the two sets of queen bunkbeds. It feels like home away from home.

I was supposed to be charged by booking and I was charged by the hotel more than I was quoted and I can’t get through to anybody to get that corrected

Breakfast

The whole lodge is classy including the rooms. Beds were pretty soft however but only slept there one night so it was ok. Was pleasantly surprised they had free breakfast which was in a beautiful room with a lit fireplace. Breakfast was coffee, muffins, fresh fruit, and a variety of bagels. The bagels were tasty! Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is close to Hunter town and mountain. It’s renovated, and has a great view of the mountain. The staffs are nice and helpful.
