A really lovely spot, close to Knepp estate, good walking, decent food and drink, friendly staff. Small but comfortable room with good amenities and pretty decent breakfast

I would have liked to have breakfast in the restaurant rather than in the room but I understand its maybe not practical to open the whole place for a small number of guests so its a pretty good compromise

Lovely pub comfy rooms and in walking distance from Knepp

The location was very relaxing and peaceful. The room was comfortable, despite a stool giving way whilst being sat upon. The continental breakfast was tasty and sufficient to set us up for the rest of the day. We would definitely consider returning if in the area again.

Nothing, except the sliding door on the bathroom could have done a better job in covering the doorway. Not of great importance.

The food was great, and the staff were very helpful

Because of the way the bathroom had been built into the room with a sliding door. There wasn’t actually very much privacy in the unsweet.
