I thought the idea of a breakfast in aHamper was an excellent way of providing food. At £10.00 a head it added to the cost of what I think is an expensive stay, but the £10.00 charge is not excessive for what was provided. Restaurant food was delicious. Its proximity to the Knepp estate was an advantage for us as a visit to Knepp was the reason for our stay.

Nothing really. The room was small, but that’s what happens in an old , small building and everything was there that was needed, well done for the design and thoughtfulness in the design

Comfy room but normally unmanned property. Pub closed early at 9:30pm.

Breakfast was included in room rate (hamper delivered to room) but not available on the day. Initially it was deemed my fault but when the manager realised the mistake, it was too late for us. Disappointing. Booking.com was blamed but really it was a lack of attention to the basics of hospitality.

Breakfast good and great location for visiting Knepp

Booking for evening meal could be encouraged with breakfast booking

The location was close proximity to the entrance to Knepp. The pub attached was very welcoming with good food

You could hear the A24 at night

Room. A but small. Hot tap in basin trickled
