Breakfast was terrible. Go and see the breakfast at the Holiday Inn Express on the same street--it is so much better,

"Beautiful Hotel But Needs Management"

We stayed three nights at this hotel. The hotel is fairly new to the area and is very nice throughout. It has an indoor pool, a spacious outdoor patio with a fireplace, and plenty of social areas indoors to visit with family and friends. When you check in, they do not tell you that housekeeping is every other day. Well, it is “supposed” to be every other day. We never received it for the three nights we were there. We called twice to complain and the front desk offered to give us towels and other supplies. So we were going downstairs for towels, coffee packs, tissue, toilet paper, etc. Dirty towels piling up and trash cans filling up in the room. This is a management issue. The front desk clerk should not be the person running down the long hall to get towels and supplies for guests, while trying to check other guests in. Let’s move to the food. The Hyatt Place is usually known for their nice breakfast buffet. The layout was really nice, the room had a great feel to it and there were plenty of tables. Unfortunately, the eggs, sausage, and potatoes do not stay hot or even warm while on the buffet. We got to the buffet at 7:15am (they opened at 7) and the food was cold. Again, a management issue. The staff downstairs is really nice and trying to do the best they can. It’s a shame that many guests will not return to such a beautiful hotel due to the lack of operational oversight.
