The Thoresby at Claremont Apartments

It was a gorgeous apartment, only about 5 minutes away from nice resturaunts and bars in the area and only a 15 minute taxi ride to the white rose shopping centre. Very close to the train station too. The staff were excellent, very helpful and attentive. Will definitely be staying again as the price was great and far nicer than any of the hotels that we looked at before booking this apartment.

It wasn't the easiest to find at first as out taxi driver kept on dropping us off at the wrong bit, but once we got the postcode it was a lot easier to navigate. Overall it was a wonderful stay

Good location for getting into the city centre. The apartment was impressive, love the driftwood table.

Someone left bags of rubbish outside our door. The bathroom had a strong stagnant drains smell, and because it's in the bedroom it then permeated out even with the door closed, so made for an unpleasant night. I did message through booking.com to mention it but got no reply.

The rapid response to our enquiry about delaying our departure by a few hours, the property itself is nice

The poor maintenance of the apartment. The bed sheets were old, teh same for the pillows. The bathroom stinks of humidity and that smell spills over into the bedroom. One of the sofas was broken at the bottom, We found some areas of the apartment were dirty, e.g. a piece of clothing left behind near the back of the toilet seat.

Stay was fantastic. Location excellent. Staff friendly and very helpful. I would stay there again.
