CACARoom was spacious but so cold. Called three times without resolve
Just before our stay at the Palliser , we were at the Fairmont Banff Springs and the staff were so wonderful. Very different culture at the Palliser Hotel. We went to the lobby bar three times and the host staff were very condescending snobby and rude.

USThe restaurant was great and the location was perfect within the city. The reception staff was very helpful checking in and out during our stay. The room was perfect and clean.
Our telephone in the room was cordless and it was not properly charged. I had to use my phone to contact the hotel lobby. .

The room wasnโt ready at check in time, 3:00 pm. We there for a honeymoon and were left standing and waiting.
GBWe were unexpectedly delighted with the Fairmont Palliser despite its grand size. It proved to be an elegant old fashioned hotel with beautiful spacious public and private rooms and bathrooms. We were upgraded to the gold floor where it became apparent that some people use the lounge facility instead of the restaurant. Filling large plates with snacks and then desserts with wine glasses filled to the brim with wine. All rather gross but if you can overlook the greed of some of the other guests it is a lovely facility and we took advantage of it for a pre dinner drink and breakfast as we were checking out early for a flight. Dinner at the Hawthorne was very good too.
