La gentillesse du personnel qui fait de son mieux avec humour et sourire

Les équipements et services sont très en dessous des standards d’un 4*. Pas de wifi pendant la moitié du séjour, une seule chaîne de sport à la télévision, climatisation capricieuse et fortes odeurs d’humidité dans la chambre. Le spa était en rénovation, et des travaux bruyants sur la plage (pergola en restauration, marteaux sur poutrelles toute la journée) rendaient impossible la détente — nous avons dû aller au Beach Club voisin du Petit Lafitte pour profiter du calme, un comble. La “Sea View” existe, mais reste très partielle. Côté petit déjeuner, l’offre varie selon l’arrivage : il manquait toujours quelque chose. Aucun geste commercial n’a été proposé malgré nos remarques. Un établissement au potentiel réel, mais une gestion défaillante qui ne correspond pas du tout à la promesse d’un 4 étoiles.

Le calme et l’emplacement sur la mer est exceptionnel! La gentillesse du personnel toujours au petit soin pour vous. Les piscines magnifiques. Mais surtout les prestations de la chambre 311 sont exceptionnelles!

We really enjoyed the quietness of this boutique hotel. The rooftop offers an amazing view, the food was excellent, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful all the time from reception to the butler service and restaurant. Special thanks to Julio, Ann, Nicanor, Rodrigo, Lorena, and honestly everyone on the team for making the stay so memorable.

If I may suggest a few improvements: it would be great if the entrance to the hotel could be paved, as the road nearby is quite bumpy. Also, during our stay it was seaweed season, which made swimming difficult, we often had to walk to find a clear spot near other hotels. Perhaps bringing in a machine to clear the seaweed, rather than doing it manually, could make the beach experience even better.

We loved our stay and recommend a room with the ocean front view. Our room was beautiful, the amenities were fantastic and the service/staff was excellent. We enjoyed the private beach, their massage services and their roof top infinity pool. Our stay here definitely made our trip to Playa del Carmen worth while and would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area. We intend to visit again in the near future and we believe this will be our go to hotel going forward. 5 stars!
