Absolutely loved staying here. Was perfect for our family. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

We didn't spend very much time on the property but liked how it was set up. We will keep it in mind for a family or group lodging where there are multiple ages and entertainment interests. Watching the elk in front of the Admin bldg was the highlight for us. We loved camps as kids and this felt like the same kind of fun.

We had the room that had two queen beds and a fold out couch, and it was perfect for her needs. There are so many amenities at this location and elk were grazing around every single day. We had wonderful memories that we made there, we will be back!

The room was very basic and had the bare minimum, which we knew before we booked it. We hardly stay in the room since we were out enjoying activities in the area, so it was a clean place to sleep. You have a bed, pillows, blanket’s, sink, toilet, shower and soap. The grounds are kept very clean and our room was clean. Our box fan wasn’t working, but it’s ok because I brought my own travel fan. It can be noisy with the windows open, but it was quiet outside by the 11pm quiet time, so it was very peaceful after that. It was great seeing so many Elk at night very close to our room. The staff are all extremely friendly and helpful. They offer a lot of activities, but we didn’t join any. Great place if you have kids. I would stay again just because it’s very budget friendly compared to a lot of other properties in the area.

Has everything you need. No reason to leave property

Great place to stay. I don't recommend the buffet for like $22. It was convienient, yet kind of minimal. Maybe I'm just used to the Chinese buffet back home, which is over whelming. Also, yikes the marking for trails and their maps are so underwhelming. Ran into other people trying to figure out were they were. It was almost a joke. I'm a trail runner, so that's important to me. So glad I stayed there. I may return, but only after shopping around. P.S. would be an outstanding place to bring a family.

Pros: Great location, good service, easy access to dining hall, best stay for first time in rockies. Cons: Very old and needs remodeling. Wood squeaking noises disturbed sleep.
