Hot water took forever to turn on. There was hair in the shower when we got there. Not the cleanest room.

Close to Rocky Mountain NP. No ac and no tv in the lodge. Didn't need the ac but being from the south I kept trying to turn it on until I realized there was no ac. Room was spacious and clean.

Clean spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. Extremely friendly and courteous staff. Most beautiful setting you could ever imagine!!! So many activities right on campus you’ll never want to leave! Wonderful trails right on the property. And the location can’t be beat! Easy access to everything Estes Park has to offer including close proximity to one of the entrances to Rocky Mountain National Park. All inclusive property with very little road traffic providing a very peaceful serene atmosphere. We will definitely be going back!

"Great Visit but Road Maintenance by Summit Cabin Severely Lacking"

8.0

All was good except the last portion of the road leading to our cabin (Black Bear on the Summit) was in terrible condition, potentially damaging the suspension of any car that would drive over it including YMCA vehicles. This portion of road (to Black Bear, Black Elk, and Thunderbird) should never have been left in this condition for folks paying $400/night to stay.
