a a very nice modern spacious clean house and everything was there to use we really enjoyed our stay ill be back again and stay longer

some of the beds were a bit uncomfortable, rubbish in the bin on arrival

Stunning lodge, very cosy and quiet. Comfortable beds and pillows. Well equipped kitchen. It was the perfect place for a trip to Lancaster

We booked use of the hot tub this time and it made our stay even more pleasant. We have stayed at this property previously and are return guests due to the excellent facilities, luxurious surroundings and locality of the property. It is second to none and we have loved our stay. We will be back in the future.

Great location - with loads of free parking. Only 10 minute walk into town. Beautiful house - with loads of communal space. Well equipped kitchen / diner / living space combined where we spent most of our time.

Host was very friendly and communicative - appreciated that. Property is neat and tidy, comfortable. A wee bit out of the city centre but you can tell that from the map - it’s about a 25 minute walk in. We had a lovely weekend in Lancaster staying here.

Few things that are more suggestions than criticisms as we had a lovely stay and found the host to be really pleasant and helpful! - wifi unreliable and didn’t work for most of our stay - we ended up hotspotting from a phone to watch a movie on the TV - couldn’t find a bin outside to dispose of rubbish - no hand towels - no body wash in shower (perhaps just used to other properties including this!) - some stains on bedding - no sponge/brush for washing dishes (this might explain why a lot of the dishes looked dirty) - very little toilet paper left for 4 people for a weekend (and quite poor quality) - feels a little misleading to include it in search results for hot tubs when it’s an extra you need to pay for
