Nice staff, great breakfast, nice room, nice bathroom and shower. No parking but big big underground parking right there.

A+ experience! This is my sixth visit to Lisbon, and the second time that I’ve stayed at the Blue Liberdade. This hotel just keeps getting better! Across the board, from fantastic amenities, ideal location, and top notch service, the Blue Liberdade does everything right. Now, they have added a free two hour walking tour in collaboration with their sister hotel, the Hotel da Baixa. It’s led by their knowledgeable and welcoming general manager, Pedro, who shares Lisbon’s rich history as well as a few hidden gems along the way. It was a great way to reorient myself to Lisbon, and he even treated us to a glass of Douro Valley wine at the end of the tour. I also love the free water and soft drinks in the mini bar, the Nespresso machine in the lobby, a complimentary mini bottle of port, as well as a seemingly endless supply of pasteis de nata, prosecco, and even a lending library of guide books! The rooms are quiet, modern, and the beds are very comfortable, too. Thank you to Pedro and the Blue Liberdade team for the excellent stay.

Locatie is super om de stad te verkennen. Ook als je een auto hebt, is er parkeergelegenheid heel nabij. Kamer is aan kleine kant, maar heeft alles wat nodig is. Geen last van lawaai ondanks de ligging midden in stad.

Ontbijt. Heel kleine ontbijtzaal waar je dichtbij elkaar zit en ontbijt is niet wauw. Er is een prachtig terras voor het hotel waar het veel leuker zitten is.

One of the reasons for choosing this hotel was the super close Metro location. I ended up taking a Bolt to the hotel. There are almost always two front desk staff on sight (except real late night hours.) Quick check in. One elevator to the floor I was on. I knew the room was relatively small, but the bathroom was big and nice, tiled floors, good lighting, great shower with great water flow. Comfortable bed and good lighting in the room. The balcony was very narrow. I never saw anyone else use their balcony. I could put a seat on the balcony then mount it like a horse to sit on the balcony. Daily room service and breakfast. Breakfast was good. The meats could have been cooked more. In the lobby they have water, flavored water and pastries 24/7. Sparking wine available most of the day. All free. Staff all speak English and were friendly. I also heard front desk staff speaking Spanish. You can also take a free walking tour at a neighbor property. This is also very near the train station for Sintra. If you have time, visit Sintra and the Pena Palace and Moorish Castle. While expensive, this was a good hotel in a a great central location. I was shocked out how about everyone in Lisbon that I contacted was fluent in English.

This is a really lovely hotel, spacious and spotless rooms lovely bathroom and comfortable bed. The hotel is made extra special by the staff who are so friendly and efficient especially Manual. The location of the hotel allows you to walk to all the sites and there are numerous restaurants nearby to choose from. A must is the complimentary walking tour by Pedro he really gives you an insight into the history of the city. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel for your Lisbon stay.
