great location to walk to dinner and nice rooftop area to lounge by the fire after!

Everything was amazing from check in to check out. The food, service, cleanliness, and roof top bar made my stay a 12 out of 10.

This was our first time staying at a Canopy. We are ex hoteliers and Hilton Diamond members so we have rather high standards. The hotel was fabulous! The lobby is fun, the rooms have gorgeous hard wood floors and are very quiet, and very comfy bedding. The eggs Benedict and yogurt parfait were yummy and the complimentary coffee was delicious. Our only complaint is the price of parking, but it seems stupidly high at every garage in Portland. Book a water view room for the sunrise.

We spent two nights at the Canopy Hotel in a well equipped King bedroom. The room was very clean and well laid out and the only complaint we had was with the very complicated shower controls. However, two very positive attributes of this Hotel, beyond the service which was excellent, was the Salt Yard Cafe (breakfast, lunch, dinner) and Luna, their rooftop bar, cafe and lounge. Both were very comfortable, with excellent service from friendly and attentive employees (shout out to Chelsea of Luna). The food and service at both the Cafe and Luna was exceptional. We noticed that many of the customers at both venues came from other than the hotel itself, which is further evidence of the high standards and fun atmosphere they share. I would strongly recommend this hotel and its two distinct eateries.

I love this Canopy and how everyone who works here obviously loves their job and their colleagues. We have stayed here a few times now and it feels like home to always see Bryn’s smile in Salt Yard Cafe, Maddie to welcome us at the front desk, Victoria, Nicole, and Andrew going the extra mile to make his guests happy. We had amazing service and food with Kateland in the Salt Yard. She creates an atmosphere that brings all of the guests together as if we have known each other for years, enjoying a relaxing time at the end of the day with good food and good company. I would go to Portland just to stay here anytime.

My husband and I stayed at Canopy By Hilton Portland Waterfront over the weekend, November 7th - 9th. We had a great time. The hotel is clean, modern, bright and very welcoming. The staff went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable from the valets to the front desk to the restaurants. The accommodations were beautiful and extremely comfortable. We enjoyed dining at both the Rooftop bar and main restaurant. We will definitely make it our GO TO hotel when visiting Maine.

Bed and bedding were comfy. Great location!
