Location was good.

The property management company was not very friendly. They did not pick up their phone when we called. It was hard to get information from them.

The location of the property is absolutely great. A quick walk away from the main strip with plenty of food and drink options but far enough away that you’re away from the large crowds. The property itself is a good space with a nice view. Diego on after hours reception was very helpful when we locked our keys in the room.

Unfortunately we didn’t have a great experience. Most importantly although having just been cleaned the property was not clean. The bathroom was moulding, the floors were dirty along with the bedside tables and bench tops. No bath mat or hand towels provided and very limited toilet paper, we had to buy more although only staying two nights. The breakfast included is very very basic which meant we had to buy a top up each morning which is not the purpose of booking a room with breakfast included. The furniture and facilities are quite rundown compared to the photos provided when booking. The walls to the apartment next door are very thin and unfortunately we had loud neighbours during our stay which kept us up. The staff (besides Diego) lacked communication skills. We were given wrong instructions on how to find our accomodation, no instructions around breakfast (a bag left at your door each morning) and sent an email that was not responded to. There are two things that should be mentioned as an FYI but I acknowledge are out of the property managers control. Firstly, the room was very Smokey our whole stay. There is a permanent resident in the room below that is obviously a heavy smoker. The smoke wafted into the apartment and also the hallway/corridor at the entry is also permanently smokey. Lastly, and I believe this is a problem all over Lagos but the bird life is very noisey and it’s unfortunate that there happens to be a bird nest on the neighbouring roof, near to the main bedroom. Again, this lead to a lack of sleep.
