Hotel Umaiyyal International

It was a horrible place to spend even one single day. The lift was not working and when we reached the hotel from Rameshwaram after 8 long hours of journey at 10.30 p.m we were given three rooms on the second floor. Myself 65 years old with knee pain was told to climb stairs. After a lot of arguments and persuasion, one room was given to me on ground floor, which was smelly, the linen was ripped and smelly The price 4,000/- per room , per night was very high according to the standard of the hotel. There was no arrangement of kettle or hot water for tea was not there. I will never ever recommend any one for this horrible place.

We have already informed we are accompanying with a child of below ten years When we checked in they started demanding 600 for one more bed then somehow we convinced and stayed Next it is too long from the site seeing place can't walk and need to afford transport We checked in around 5pm and we were asked to vacate by 11 morning We have to take one more big non AC room cost of 1000 just for keeping bags, they could have considered to leave the room next day by 4pm TV not working at all AC got turned off in mid of the night and it was so hot it was done intentionally for all the three rooms

They cancelled our booking by themselves without prior permission and we have to look for other hotels at very end. Very cheap behaviour and disgusting hotel.

Chambre au ground floor sans wifi. Le réseau Airtel ne passait pas bien. Accueil désagréable sauf les 2 jeunes surtout l'un très serviable. Panne d'électricité mais pas générale. J'y suis restée 2 nuits. Prix excessif par rapport à l'équipement. Télévision ne fonctionne pas bien et pas de chaînes internationales.
