IEThe apartment i had booked was not available on arrival. i was told by property owner he had to move me and my family. He said he had messaged booking.com that day but no message arrived to me. I had booked this apt before december. We had to get a taxi to the new accomodation, the owner had promised to send an uber but it never arrived. 4 adults and 2 eleven year olds (soaking wet as we were standing in the rain). On arrival it was very upsetting in the next accommodation as the beds were not made, dirty towels on floor, dirty dishes on table, dirty bathroom, windows and doors in disrepair dirty floors. Just awful and to be there with family on a special occasion just ruined the entire trip.how this landlord expected anybody to stay here is beyond belief,we could not stay there give the state of the apartment and had to find other accomodation which wasnt easy at the 11th hour nor cheap. GBAbsolutely disgusting, only good thing was that it was in the centre.
I cannot explain how much this place STANK! As soon as we walked in the smell of cigarettes hit us. I kept waking up during the night and just smelling cigarettes. We found an empty packet of cigarettes in a mug with god knows what else some weird yellow stuff. The tv was not on the wall, one of the radiators was hanging off the wall, found used fake nails on the floor, chewing gum on the floor, used wipes, no toilet roll which was meant to be supplied, no WiFi, stains on the floor and wet patches on the floor, and the sofas!!! The sofas were covered in stains, no clue what these stains were but they were disgusting. I’ll add a couple of photos below!
