St Helen's House with Minster views

The property is in a great location, however at night was very noisy on the streets!

It suited the surroundings oldy worldly. Beds were super comfy

Location to city centre. 4 bedrooms 3 bathroom plus seoerate toilet very handy.

As said before in certain bedrooms the overnight noise from the 24hr McDonalds plus waste disposal vehicles! Few plumbing issues kitchen tap then one of en suite basins wouldn't run away but they came out and fixed that. Attic bathroom very neat and hot towel rail too close to toilet seat! No shelf in that bathroom for two couples to share could have had a shelf on wall plus coat hook on door would have been handy

Lovely spacious property, plenty of room for our group of 4 couples.

24 hour McDonald’s is right outside so it got very noisy in the front bedrooms, the property would benefit from a double glazed glass pane on the inside of those windows. Ear plugs are provided but noise could still be heard.

The spacious house was amazing and the location of the property was perfect.

The toilets didn’t have enough toilet roll, the tap in the kitchen leaked

Owners need to sort out the noise problem from the 24/7 Macdonalds opposite the apartment, with double glazing, secondary glazing or preferably shutdown the Macdonalds or at least close before 10am.

It's a great central location. It's about ten to fifteen minutes walk from the train station. It's two minutes from the shambles, 30 seconds from st Helens Square and you could probably get to anywhere within about 10 minutes from the house. Lots of room to spread out across the house or lovely and cosy in the living room when you wanted to come together. It had everything we needed. Showers were great. Comfy beds. Secure entrance to make you feel safe within the property. Views of the minster were very pretty. The property let company could not have been more accommodating. Very responsive to phone calls and messages. Helped fulfil all of our requests, where possible. The property was clean and tidy. We had booked a celebration package for our birthday girl, which went down a treat. Really smooth check in and out. Even when the code didn't work first time round, a quick phone call soon sorted out the issue. It has got lots of stairs, which wasn't a problem for us but maybe something to bear in mind if you're not as mobile. Two of the bedrooms have ensuites and the other two bedrooms share a shower room, which worked out just fine for our party. Overall, we all had a really enjoyable and comfy stay.

If you are staying in the front bedrooms you will most likely encounter quite a bit of nighttime noise. However, this is to be expected in a central city location and in an older property with single pane windows. We came prepared with ear plugs!

We loved the traditional decor and the space this property offered. We all (8 family members) felt at home sitting around the large dining table.

The rug in the living room was a bit of a trip hazard.It was a noisy street in the early hours of the morning, which kept us awake, particularly as we needed windows open because of the heat. One plug in fan in the master bedroom was broken.
