St Helen's House with Minster views

Very large and spacious rooms. Spotlessly clean bathrooms and beds. Location excellent

The terrible noise levels on the front side of the property. Those sleeping in the two bedrooms were awake all night. This was unavoidable because of the property being where it was but didn’t make for an enjoyable stay. A couple of maintenance issues that I think have not been addressed. No contact tel no.

Beautiful house in the heart of the town , spacious and has everything you need to feel at home , easy to find , and just 8-9 minutes walk from the parking lot

Slightly noisy on the road side , mattresses need an upgrade

Loved the space and location was great as in town centre. It was comfortable and clean. More than enough room for 4 adults and 3 children. The kids enjoyed the games that we found in a cupboard. I loved the old style furniture. We all had a fab time.

Unfortunately the same old thing about the MacDonalds opposite. However we were visiting when England got through to the Euro final and it was exceptionally loud and busy in the town and street until approx 5am. Then the street cleaners and bin men arrived. We were in the room facing so got no sleep that night. The people in the back rooms heard nothing. However the next night we didn’t hear a thing and I expect this is the norm apart from on weekends and football cup finals!!!!

Location perfect right in centre of York. Large bedrooms with comfortable beds etc. Living room, dining room and kitchen again perfect for our needs.

All good so nothing that we didn't like.

Gorgeous authentic English house right in the heart of York.

The only complaint was the noise of people hanging out on the street. But it’s a perfect location.

Location was perfect. And the house was gorgeous.

Great location, plenty of space, clean comfy beds, and clean bathrooms Tea coffee and milk supplied was a nice touch

Entrance hall, living room, and dining room in desperate need of painting, wardrobes in bedrooms very dusty. Very noisy, but we knew that, because of the location

It smelt of damp and the lower floor carpets were all wet, also the noise from the street kept us awake all night
