La Fontaine Court Apartments - Aldershot

apartment is very spacious, bright and clean. Lauren was very helpful.

Unfortunately at the bottom of the stairs, in the hall entrance there is a smell of cat wee, it was very strong by the main door but thankfully you can not smell it in the apartment. The kitchen could be better stocked with sharp knives and a few other bits but nothing major. The shower head holder was broken so we had to hold it in our hand. Could not get the TV channels to work at all. If a bit of money was spent on this apartment it could be really good. New sheets would be good too. this sounds like a really bad review, but actually it's not, the apartment was perfectly fine and Lauren was very helpful. I would stay again but to the owners, spent a little bit of money and it could be really good!

Good sized space for family of 3 and close to amenities. Park directly outside which was great again for little one. Apartment was well presented and tidy with yourself apartment guide book for the area. Good for getting to grips with surroundings. Smart TV connected and so able to log into various apps etc which was good for down time with small child.

Unsure if apartment has good ventilation. Strong odours within apartment that need attention for a family staying with young children. WiFi code was to be shared by host but this was not received and so no access to WiFi on personal devices. Only applicable as not from the UK and so had limited 4G/ 5G access. Perhaps worth considering showing photos of all available apartments on booking sites.

Parking facilities were good and it was fairly easy to check in and out.

Once entering the property it smelt very bad. Like someone had smoked something before we had came in. Quite suffocating that all windows had to be opened. Overall was ok clean. Microwave was not cleaned. Toilet was a little dirty as well. Toilet door kept getting stuck when trying to open. On our second day of stay fire alarm or something kept beeping from hallway that kept me awake and I felt unsafe the whole night. Smell of smoke was quite strong and horrible. Towards the morning it cleared up as I had opened windows again overnight despite the cold. Double bed in room was clean however sofa bed bedding was dirty so used our own.

Great location and very quiet. Easy parking.

The ikea furniture is getting a bit tired and there are some items tgat are broken and need fixing. Plenty of ‘useful’ items have been left but it felt like clutter to me.
