La Fontaine Court Apartments - Aldershot

The location was great, a quick walk to the train station and into town. Everything you needed for a cozy stay, felt like a home from home :) Perfect for our family with a baby.

Wifi didn't work

Dirty and very worn, holes in curtains, food left in fridge, couldn't stay here, had to book another apartment!

Nothing except bathroom shower was ok.

I didn't like the fact that the bedroom curtains were old and had holes in which I took a picture of. Very bad! Lack of care and attention throughout. The flat stank of smoke, obviously people had smoked in the rooms and it states it is a no smoking place. As a non smoker it was overpowering. Windows were open when we arrived which did nothing to rid the smell. Oven was dirty, old food bits left and the place says they pride themselves on cleanliness. Sheets were not freshly laundered, old and grey and with the place constantly smelling of smoke it permeated every furnishing. We left after one night to find alternative accomodation. Also the flats are advertised as carpeted, this wasn't with only one old small rug in the main room. Don't stay here!!! Waste of money, too expensive for what it was, a one bedroom flat with a sofa bed. I left a message with booking.com before we left and no one got back to me.

It’s a comfortable apartment with a well equipped kitchen.

There was a problem with that broadband that previous tenants had not reported to the management team but this meant no wifi. This was essential for my work, so caused me a lot of problems on the day of check in, both trying to identify the problem and then in finding a solution. The manager offered to try and sort it but was abroad on holiday and because the online work was time sensitive, I chose to solve it myself by purchasing portable wifi equipment and a data card instead. This lost me another hour in having to go and collect it. Compensation of some sort was briefly discussed but no follow-up sadly. I wouldn’t choose to stay there again.

Spacious property good sized kitchen and living area.

Wasn’t clean when I arrived. Standard of cleaning isn’t excellent. Kitchen cutlery is poor. Bed was quite uncomfortable. Shower leaks in the bathroom requiring mopping after use. There was lots of hair everywhere.

The apartmant was extremely dirty. I had to clean to even stay at the place. It is not recommanded for families. The sofa is terribly uncomfortable. It's hard to have a shower because there is only hot water.
