Raffles Udaipur

The location of Raffles in Udaipur is truly unique being the only luxury hotel on a large lake and nature reserve which is spectacular, full of tropical flora and fauna. From the very moment we arrived we were welcomed like family and treated like royalty with a boat ride across the lake and a buggy ride to the hotel. The grounds and the facilities are second to none being a true five star hotel. Upon arrival we were showered with rose petals and again welcomed into the fold like we were family. The whole process of checking in was seamless and we were shown to our room which was absolutely beautiful with every facility and luxury you could imagine and a view to match throughout our stay. Nothing was a problem and in fact staff were literally falling over themselves to help us and make sure that our stay was truly memorable. A special thanks to the floor manager Aman who really looked after us and gave us his direct contact as a service and also to Karan at the breakfast area who looked after all our dietary needs, last but not least least Mohit at the pool who pampered us daily. We are definitely coming back

Food

The property exudes luxury and is quite remarkable. Its attention to detail is impeccable. The property is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the facilities. The spa is absolutely beautiful and the high teas are top notch. Staff are very attentive.

They did have a mix up with our bookings for our high tea even though I booked months in advance but the team were quick to assist with rectifying their error and attempted to make our booking special none the less. The baggage upon departure was very slow to arrive on the boat when we were on a tight schedule.
