The Wilton Hotel

Friendly welcoming hosts, clean bedrooms, en suite, not in immediate centre, car park on site although very tight.

Blackpool itself!!... very rundown, empty shops, falling down hotels, derelict buildings everywhere, such a shame

Great location to Blackpool Pleasure Beach, Maddame Tussauds, The Tower and central pier. On site parking which was very helpful and staff helped to ensure our car was safe. The room was comfortable, lovely large room for our family of 4. Breakfast was delicious, catered for my dietary needs and a fussy teenager! Josh and his team are really nice, very friendly, felt right at home. Would definitely stay again and for longer as we only stayed 2 nights whilst the air show was on.

After 9pm we didn't feel very safe being out with the children (age 10 and 13). We headed back to the hotel hoping to have a couple of drinks in the bar area but it wasn't open at any time we were in. I am pretty sure if I had messaged Josh he would have come and opened it but didn't want him to open up if there were only the 4 of us in there. We also couldn't access the vending machine in the night when our daughter wanted a drink, this was the first night so just made sure we had drinks in the second night. Totally understand for it being locked away safely though.

There was sound like a generator or some sort of washing machine sound like was going for hours in till to early morning wasn't able to get much sleep

Room wasn't very clean, I moved the bed cause my phone fell between the bed and the wall, there was a carrierbag on the floor and the skirting was caked in dust, bed hadnt been moved in a long time, there where bad staines on the carpets, noise across the street kept me awake till 1am ( this is not the fault of the hotel I know).
