SAND DIAMOND HOTEL

i've been to so many hotels in my life and i never had securities and hotels employees be so rude. i was on my way to my room with my sister as one of the security stop me to ask me a lot of questions he was so rude and said to us she could only stay for 15min, he was so rude that he started arguing with my family member i mean who in their right mind does that even if the customer isn't right you cannot argue with them. every time i enter the hotel with my daughters i was treated as a criminal the same security guy will always check on me like he was paying my bill.the housekeeping people were always loud and sometimes wouldn't even clean my room the last day of my stayed i went to get breakfast as usual and a little cockroach was around the food. when "sand diamond " was sheraton this never happened cause it wasn't my first time at that place next time i'll be staying at the radisson

We traveled to Panama city panama back in April. I choose the four points Sheraton because we have been dealing with Sheraton hotels for years. The hotel was great very spacious room The staff was very pleasant. The food was good also every day there was a different variety of foods to eat The gym and pool we also good.

We stayed at this hotel in the Free Zone or Panama for one night. I liked my room, and the food. However the hotel was taken over from another hotel chain so we could not pay our bill with credit cards and had to use cash. The carpet in the hallway was recently replaced however the underfloor was not flat so walking on it was a bit strange. Breakfast was included in the price so that was okay. The hotel was connected to the free zone so this is a plus. There was a store near by and a Burger King if you did not want to eat in the hotel. The frig was stocked also but I do not advise eating any snacks or drinking anything. Water was $6 and a small bottle of wine $11. We were able to secure a discounted rate, If you do not have that, then the hotel is expensive.

Not good experience with the Hotel employees. The room was clean but the housekeeping talking loud when they cleaning the guest room and the guest are not allowed to have visitor for more than 15 minutes inside the room completely ridiculous and if you have friend coming over and visited for more than 20 minutes the hotel want me to pay $20 extra for visitor

Since I was landing in the afternoon, it was safer to spend the first night on the Atlantic coast in a large hotel. So I selected the Four Points. I was nicely welcomed and given a large corner room on a high floor, as per my request. The room was nice and had the necessary amenities. My main disappointment actually was the lack of view. I was under the impression from the TA map that the hotel was close to the sea if not by it. But not at all. It is actually in the middle of Colon. The rest was however all right for a one night stay. And I slept well! The next morning, I left early to be able to scuba dive near Portobelo... Will I go back? Well since I am not sure there are other safe options in Colon, this could well be the case.

My company booked me into this hotel twice, both the times I have been unimpressed with the quality of staff. From the front office reception to the restaurant waiter, I have never been treated courteously by any staff. Rooms are spacious and clean with all amneties. The bar is a nice place to visit in the evening and have a couple of cold ones.
