This would have been a great experience - had we not had to change rooms two times in the middle of the night on the same night due to 1) fire alarm randomly going off at 1am in our room and 2) other odd noises in the 2nd room which we were moved out of around 4am. Management never acknowledged or apologized for the disruption and the fact that we weren't able to get a good night's sleep. We most likely will not be staying here again because of the poor customer service. Note if you do stay here for an extended period, there is a grocery store nearby but it's a bit of a drive to get to restaurants.

"Two room changes in one night with no acknowledgment from management"

4.0

I have wanted to go here since it's opened because my grandparents had a home across the lake and I spent my childhood looking at the lodge (the trees weren't fully grown back then!). The rooms have been updated nicely. The breakfast offering is very limited (most seemingly to involve croissant or bacon). Where we had the issue: We arrived and checked into our room. - Our room was 78+ degrees. We called the front desk and she said the A/C is operated by body heat, so we stayed in the room. The temperature went down a few degrees over the next few hours but was never at a fully comfortable temperature. - Around 1ish am the fire alarm started going off for a few seconds. It stopped so we went back to sleep but then it started going off again around 2am so we called the front desk and we ended up moving to a new room so as not to have to deal with the fire alarm all night. - The 2nd room we moved into had some weird vibrating noise that went off every minute or so (sort of like a cell phone vibration - but we had no idea where it was coming from - it was definitely not from our cell phones). By around 4ish a.m. we decided we couldn't "try" to sleep through it so again had to end up changing rooms for a 2nd time. - The 3rd room was a perfect temperature and no noise. - The night person asked what time would be OK for a manager to give us a call the next day. - We never got a call from management and ZERO acknowledgment that there were any issues with our stay. I responded to a survey about my experience (and refused to do a Trip Advisor review at that time - thinking they might get back to me) - but I still have heard nothing from management about our experience. All it would have taken would have been a small credit - or some type of acknowledgment - for us to want to return or to not write a poor review. For the price of the room, we would expect much better customer service.

My partner and I are long-time locals who decided to stay here for a special celebration. The Lodge is located in the heart of a dense urban area on property that used to be a seminary. The seminary buildings have beautifully restored and are surrounded by acres of forests with walking trails to the beach. Everything was lovely and quiet. The avocado toast was superb. The staff was warm and friendly. Will return again soon.

We visited last year and had another great visit! We noticed things are a bit dirtier now? Dust on walls, surfaces, etc. Staff was super accommodating. Will visit again.

"Wow! What a great weekend!"

Wonderful setting, in the middle of a State Park with plenty of trails to hike and amazing play structures and bike areas for the little ones. The library is equipped with games that encourage family and/or friend time. Excellent service from friendly staff.

"Charming, unique, restorative place to stay!"

10.0

Beautiful grounds with so many tranquil places to ease your mind in a busy world. Even the bees are friendly here and behave quite differently than any place else I've encountered them. They welcome you to smell flowers as they gather honey. I think we may have nuzzled several. Numerous spots to hang out with friends, coworkers, family - whatever the need. Incredibly clean, well-thought out spaces. It was a dream to stay over the weekend with my coworkers. This was a TRUE RETREAT! I learned the hotel enlists local artists to come out to hold classes (I.E.: glass making, flower arrangement, etc.) for our work retreat and the artists get to keep the full commission!!! It gave me even deeper respect and applause for the Lodge at St. Edwards Park. Staff were incredible and on a different level. They are kind, polite, attentive and even follow-up! You don't find that these days. Standing ovation! The restaurant/bar/in-room dining were the only places that didn't match the same incredible service as the rest of the venue but still good. It might take a little while to get service but, if you're there to relax and have a lot of time, it'll be just fine. Overall, fantastic, fantastic hidden-gem in Kirkland/Kenmore area. Lots of fun places to visit around the area too and complimentary rides in a 10-mile radius. INCREDIBLE! Thank you Lodge at St. Edwards Park! Hope to visit again, soon ~

"Amazing food and hospitality"

10.0

For a calmer experience, I choose this place again and again the rooms are a decent size very lovely beds and great views of the park. The people who work here go above and beyond and our attentive and very kind not that but the food here is amazing. I would come to Seattle just for the food. This food is incentive. Taste great and I’m shocked that more people are not talking about it since it’s so good they find new and exciting flavors for old takes and for things that can’t be changed. They put love and heart in it.
