From the minute we landed, our stay was incredible. The rooms were extremely clean and the staff and food was genuinly incredible. Aysha, Mauch, Hafiz, Nishaanth, Ali Baba, Abby, Sorijana and the wider team delivered exceptional service. We too opted for Hari a personal trainer who was exceptionally knowledgeable. As someone with coeliac disease, I really have to say how impressed I was with Le Meridian’s knowledge of dietary requirements. Pradeep the head chef at Velaa really does need a special mention. He and his team created the most delicious meals for us and went out of their way to cater to my needs. If you’re worried about the quality of food at an all inclusive stay, I would highly recommend Le Meridian. The food really was standout with a choice of restaurants and huge variety of food on offer. We would come back in a heartbeat. I would highly recommend paying extra for the sunset villas. It’s worth the additional money!

We left the island with two sad eyes. Our 8-day stay in a villa built halfway in the water above the sand was very nice, spacious, and very well maintained. The resort offers everything you could want in the Maldives and even much more. In terms of food (no matter which restaurant), cleanliness, and friendliness, we can confidently give it top marks. But what made our vacation so valuable and, among other things, so emotional were the people. (Not the guests :-) but the staff.) We experienced an incredible amount of passion, genuine friendliness, and hospitality that we have never, or at least rarely, experienced in Switzerland. The manager, Muthuraman, deserves a special mention here. He always managed to make us feel like we were the only guests on the island. No matter which restaurant we ate at, he always surprised us with culinary delights. Only the Japanese restaurant didn't really convince us. In our opinion, it was too expensive for food that was good but not outstanding. We recommend the resort with a clear conscience and would like to express our heartfelt thanks to the staff and, once again, especially to Muthuraman for everything he did for us. Nice house reef always you to spot a lot when snorkeling. The bar is also nice as it's a great spot for sundowners and adults only. Great food, especially breakfast.

Got lots of mosquito and sandfly bites throughout, they try to control that but don't manage to. AI bookers are limited to got to the Japanese restaurant for dinner every four days. In the over water villas it's always noisy ehenthey drive around with the buggys. During our stay they did photo shooting and several locations were closed multiple times - a no go.

It’s quite a journey to get to this resort, but once you arrive, it’s absolutely worth it. We were warmly welcomed by the team and the manager, accompanied by music and applause. After the reception and check-in, we were taken to our room by a cart. We stayed in an overwater villa — truly recommended! The villa had everything we needed, and the view was simply stunning. It also included a personal butler who was easily reachable via WhatsApp and ready to take care of anything we needed. The service was excellent: everyone was friendly and did their best to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Breakfast was plentiful and freshly prepared. Since we visited during the low season, the buffet was closed and we ate à la carte each day. Fortunately, the chef prepared the most delicious Indian dishes upon request, so we enjoyed amazing meals all week. We stayed for seven days. At first, I thought I might get bored after a few days since there isn’t much to do on the island besides snorkeling and excursions, but that wasn’t the case at all. It was wonderful to relax on our villa’s terrace with a beautiful view, enjoy the stunning beach, and walk around the lush island filled with colorful flowers and plants. It truly looks just like the magazines: white sandy beaches, blue water, and swaying palm trees! I would have gladly stayed a few more days. What a unique place!

We spent an unforgettable week at Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa, and every moment was perfect. The island itself is breathtaking — lush greenery, vibrant flowers, and swaying palms, with just the right amount of wildlife. It also boasts white sandy beaches and a rich marine life along the reef, although you need to swim a bit to reach it. From our villa, we were lucky to spot several types of rays and beautiful fish, though sadly we never managed to catch a glimpse of a turtle. Our water villa was absolutely breathtaking and looked almost brand new. The design was both elegant and modern, and the bath tub was truly the cherry on top. I originally wished for a pool, but that tub was honestly just as good, if not better. We chose this special week to celebrate my friend’s 50th birthday, and the entire stay felt like a dream. The celebration began early in the morning under the watchful eye of Mauch, and our Island Host Nifaau surprised us with a magical experience under the stars. When we entered our water villa, my friend was speechless for the first time in her life — the villa’s beauty, elegance, and grandeur were almost surreal. Even now, we feel as if we were dreaming. Ahmed and Ayisha decorated the villa so thoughtfully that the moment became truly unforgettable. Every morning, breakfast at Turquoise was one of the highlights of our stay. We always sat at our favorite front-row table by the ocean, feet in the sand, enjoying delicious food and the warm, impeccable service of Mauch, Erna, Jezzika, and Jaube. Among many delicacies, I especially enjoyed my almond croissant with prosecco — always served ice-cold by the guys. They made every morning sweet and cheerful — Shukuriyaa to all of you. Our housekeeper Ahmed was truly exceptional — efficient, gentle, and incredibly kind. He kept our home-away-from-home perfectly tidy and never let us be without anything we needed or wished for. We adored him so much that we joked we’d happily bring him home with us. We also want to extend our heartfelt thanks to the professional and incredibly helpful reception team, who were always ready to assist with anything we needed. Together with Nifaau, they arranged a late check-out for us and even surprised us with a complimentary dinner — a thoughtful gesture that made our stay feel even more special. Dining at the resort was consistently outstanding. • Veela Bar + Grill offered mouth-watering steaks and highly professional service — thank you, Sirlana and Akbar. • Thank you Yashu, Hafiz, Thallu. Soma and Symon for working so hard on the beach. • Tabemashu impressed us with exceptional food and service, and even surprised my friend with a birthday song and beautiful decoration. Thank you to the entire team for that wonderful moment. • La Vie quickly became our favorite bar, always joyful and welcoming. We loved spending our evenings there. A special thank you to Jayanta for crafting exquisitely balanced, premium cocktails — and to the lovely lady colleague who kindly advised against pairing white wine with ginger ale. Dj Mikhail surprised us with tunes that perfectly captured the freshest and most current trends. • Riviera served unforgettable lamb chops and delicious octopus — I still regret not ordering them again. What I don’t regret at all is having my favorite dessert after every meal: guava ice cream with Maldivian chili — the perfect sweet-and-spicy combination. The resort could further elevate the dining experience by offering a wider wine selection and making excellent use of a knowledgeable sommelier, which would harmonize beautifully with the otherwise gourmet culinary offering. The staff truly made our stay unforgettable. Every member of the team went above and beyond to make us feel cared for. from breakfast to beach parties and special celebrations. Their attention to detail, genuine warmth, and dedication truly elevated our stay. Overall, Le Méridien Maldives Resort & Spa combines breathtaking natural beauty, luxurious villas, gourmet cuisine, and exceptional service. Our experience — especially the 50th birthday celebration — was beyond anything we could have imagined. We left with full hearts, unforgettable memories, and a strong desire to return to this little piece of paradise.

Amazing experience, great food and just an overall 5-star trip. You can clearly tell it is a new Marriott property which makes the resort look pristine. The staff also goes above and beyond when it comes to service and attention to detail. It truly was a 5-star experience. Special shoutout to Maad who was an amazing host and Symon and Soma who kept the beach vibes going all week long. Once in a lifetime vacation that I look forward to experience again one day soon. Myself & my husband visited the beautiful Island in Maldives, hotel Le Meridien for 10 days. We had the best time! It truly was paradise, lovely accommodation, everyone was so helpful, couldn’t do enough for us! We celebrated my husband’s birthday and they celebrated with us by making everything so special 🥰 The food was fabulous, all restaurants had a great selection of dishes and if you would like something on request Chef Pradeep cooked some mouth watering dishes with beautiful presentation and with so much love ❤️ Thank you Pradeep 🙏 We would also like to thank Abishek for all he did making us feel welcome from our very first day ☺️ We began our day at the lovely restaurant Turquoise everyday, welcomed by Abby & Erma and team with their beautiful smiles, treating us like family. We have wonderful,unforgettable Golden time with family to Le Meridian resort. Heaven on earth, awesome, talented and very humble CHEF,Pradeep,CHEF Sanchit, Food and Desserts were incredibly remarkable Jesus bless.. Above All, Mr KARAN and Mr Abhishek 24/7 provided facilities. Having stayed at the unbelievable W Maldives we were unsure about trying somewhere different but on this occasion I figured why not as I put some points to good use. At every stage expectations were exceeded in terms of the arrivals, use of a dedicated lounge, early check in, upgrades as an Ambassador member and the general quality of the resort. The resort is older but feels well invested with a seemingly cast of thousands keeping it tidy. Restaurants are varied and of excellent quality. Turquoise undertook the buffet which was nothing new but did an excellent beach BBQ whilst we were there. Others are just plain outstanding - Waves, Riviera, Tabemasu and Velaa. A lot of variety. Staff are equally attentive and polite and very professional. A shout out to Abby at Turquoise, Ari at Riviera and Waves and the chefs at Velaa and Turquoise. They were all amazing. Housekeeping was punctual and thorough. We saw plenty of wildlife from the overwater villa - lion fish, massive rays and sharks. Recommendations: The All Inclusive is good value. Breakfast at waves is excellent. Only slight drawbacks / it’s a northern atoll so some excursions you can get from the others are not available here - whale sharks and mantas, but plenty on offer.
