Le Meridien Maldives Resort & Spa

Let me start by saying that my wife and I are experienced travelers, and we’ve been all over the world. We decided to go here on our honeymoon and it surpassed all our expectations. From the first contact by hotel management and the check-in team, to the final farewell by the staff - there is never a moment when you are not absolutely loved and cared for. All your wants and needs are not only met, but surpassed. Everyone we talked to made us feel like the most important guests on the entire island; but that is just how amazing the staff are. As for the rooms - they’re unreal. The level of comfort is exactly what you expect from a Marriot property of this caliber. The over-water villas sit above the coral reefs so you can snorkel off your deck. We say hundreds of different tropical fish, all vibrant colors and sizes. Sea turtles, rays, and all sorts of vivid sea life. It’s surreal to wake up to. The food was a personal highlight for both my wife and I. She has a gluten allergy, and usually when we travel it can be an issue. But not here. We mentioned it once or twice at check in, and from that point on, every meal we had the staff knew about her allergy, and she was more than accommodated for. They’d bring her gluten free bread, make her special meals as needed, and ensured she was well taken care of. The beaches were immaculate, the vibes were amazing, the food was perfect, and the staff could not have been better. There are a few individuals that made this trip better than amazing though, and they deserve the recognition: - Erma - Mauch - Symon - Thallu - Srijana - Ahkbar - Chef Vamsi, Chef Devine, Pastry Chef Sanchit and all their incredible staffs And of course the two individuals who went farther above and beyond anything that could be expected: Abhi & Chef Pradeep To the entire staff of the Le Meridian Maldives - thank you all from the bottoms of our hearts.

Amazing hospitality, very warm n helpful staff....special mention Mr.Abhishek , Mr. Pardeep, Mr.Sanchit Kapoor,Mr.Akbar, Miss Lisa, Miss Elvin, Mr Sarthak ....we were deeply touched by their warm hospitality ..they all were courteous and very very helpful ...if we revisit this property again, it's going to because pf these people and all the other staff members who too were extremely courteous

Le Meridien Resort is absolutely blissful! The food is phenomenal! We did the all inclusive- which was worth it not to stress about the bill while on vacation but you can get by with half board. Riveria and Waves cafe for breakfast were our favorites. Lots of variety of food choices and every dish was exceptional! Now to the sea. We snorkeled most days sometimes twice a day for about an hour straight out and to the right from the end of the west end Villa pier. We got so very lucky! Had a National Geographic moment on our last day saw octopuses mating - followed by a close encounter with a reef shark- luckily he eventually swam away. The house reef is beyond amazing- clear, calm waters saw reef tip sharks, octopus - 4 total - morphing and changing colors and texture!, sea turtles, eagle ray, huge porcupine rays, so so many colorful fish - parrot fish, puffer fish (my favs!), squid! The overwater bungalows are a dream. We had perfect weather every day in the beginning of November. The staff were so attentive. Only downside vs other resorts is that the manta rays and whale sharks are not close - but I would choose this resort again in heart beat because of the phenomenal food, service and house reef. The jetski excursion to be up close to the dolphins was my favorite excursion! Also did jet skis to the nurse sharks and night snorkel where we were lucky enough to see bioluminescence! Highly recommend this resort again

Fantastic hotel, location, staff! Cannot fault our stay at all. Paradise with sun, sea and fabulous food. The staff cannot do more for you, in particular Chef Pradeep went above and beyond for us. Beyond hospitable. Chef Suraj and Chef Sanchit, also stood out. The wait staff in all the restaurants and at the pool couldn’t have been more brilliant or helpful, Mauch, Evi and Symon, were wonderful and there’s so many more members of the team that had such an impact. We loved that there a female DJ Playing incredible beats at the adults only bar. Made watching the sunsets even more magical. If you stay at this hotel you will not be disappointed!we can’t wait to come back

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Le Méridien Maldives. As our Stay Curator, Chef Pradeep looked after us with warm, attentive, and proactive care—checking on us regularly, offering thoughtful suggestions, and coordinating details that made everything feel effortless. Dinner at Velaa was a highlight: the steak was perfectly cooked and truly delicious. The sea was crystal clear and breathtaking, and we were fortunate to have beautiful weather throughout our stay. The star-filled night sky was an unexpected highlight and became one of our favorite memories. Heartfelt thanks to Chef Pradeep and the entire team for their outstanding hospitality. We would gladly return and highly recommend this resort to anyone visiting the Maldives.

Our experience at Le Meridien Maldives was nothing short of amazing. The overwater villas are beautiful, the house reef is teaming with incredible fish at even relatively shallow depths, and the staff is very warm and attentive. Special mention to Pradeep for customizing pretty much every meal to suit our dietary preferences, to Nuttey for amazing diving & snorkeling experiences, and Avinash for checking in so promptly on whatever else we needed. Can’t wait to visit again- definitely recommend the property, great value and a lot to do!

From the moment I stepped in, the calm ambiance and warm smiles instantly put me at ease. The staff were professional, attentive, and made sure every detail was taken care of. My massage therapist lita was incredibly skilled — the treatment was relaxing, rejuvenating, and exactly what I needed. The gentle ocean breeze and soothing sounds made it even more special. I walked out feeling completely refreshed and renewed. Highly recommend indulging in a spa session during your stay — it’s pure bliss in paradise! 🌸✨

Nice hotel with good people. Of course exist some points for improving but excellent things much more. They have a new Padel court for all who likes play it is nice option.

Although we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, I wanted to provide some constructive feedback along with some positive thoughts. The resort would benefit from an app instead of a website to make bookings. We found it frustrating having to refer back to the website each day and sometimes the information regarding restaurant opening hours was incorrect. I am Celiac, which means I cannot eat gluten. The Nachos on the menu at Velar suggest they are gluten free. This is incorrect. I fell quite unwell eating them. It would have also been helpful to know that some of the ingredients in the food on the menu can be adjusted to be gluten free. I did not know this at the beginning of our stay and so I felt very restricted by what I could eat in the restaurants. The buffet in Tourquoise also does not label what has gluten in it. A glass of champagne would have been appreciated upon arrival under the canopy when we got off the sea plane which we have experienced at other resorts in the Maldives. We also think the bicycles/padel & tennis should be complimentary and awarded to each room. Other than that all of the staff were incredibly warm, helpful and eager to please and accommodate all of our requests. Hadee in Water Sports made our stay extra special with his knowledge of marine life, taking care of our goggles and fins, finding us dolphins on our jet ski tour, taking videos and photos of us and looking after us whilst snorkeling with sharks. Please thank him for us. A special mention to Ziyaam, the waiter in Le Vie, he was incredibly attentive throughout our stay making sure we had enough drinks, always with a smile. We wish him all the best and thank him for great service. Our spa treatment was one of the best we have ever had and a special mention to Khan. Pradeep was our stay curator (butler), he kindly made me a gluten free packed lunch to take to the airport. He also ensured we had a special dining experience on our last night which we were not expecting. It was greatly appreciated. The food was the best out of every resort we have been to. Thank you

We had an incredible stay at Le Meridien Maldives! This trip was extra special because it was my birthday, and the staff went above and beyond to make it unforgettable. I ended up with four different birthday cakes and three separate birthday serenades from various teams it was the sweetest surprise. We stayed in Room 246, which had a private pool and stunning views. The room was a bit farther from the main restaurant, but we didn’t mind it gave us an excuse to ride bikes everywhere, which became one of our favorite parts of the stay. We enjoyed karaoke nights and loved listening to Stella perform live she has such a beautiful voice. The ladies at Turquoise restaurant were so kind and attentive, and the food was always delicious. A special thank you to Ali at the front desk. He helped us from check in through our entire stay and made sure everything went smoothly. His kindness and attention to detail really stood out. Overall, our experience was absolutely wonderful. Le Meridien Maldives exceeded every expectation, and I’d go back in a heart beat!!
