MOOD HAUS by DW - 70's Retro Stays

Super cool place for sure! We stayed for a couple of nights. Very comfortable and spacious. Nothing but good things to say about DW. The only downside was there is zero white noise and in the mornings it can be very loud outside. Also, make sure to request more towels as we were provided one each to last four days. Great property and location. Make sure you get to The Dreamcatcher for breakfast before walking just steps to the beach!

Such a unique and fun place to stay. The location was perfect and the hosts were super responsive. Highly recommend!

This place is amazing and right in the heart of the city.

My stay at MoodHaus was sadly disappointing overall. Check-in was easy and the room was very clean and looked as pictured though I will say overly staged with cheap/uncomfortable furniture. A big plus was that the water in shower was hot and pressure was great. However, I chose a place that advertised high speed wifi since I work remotely during this pandemic. The wifi never worked for my entire stay and this also meant TV was unavailable since it uses Roku (wifi) to stream content. I was constantly told “it will be fixed soon” yet it never was fixed or addressed during my stay and I had to eventually ask for a partial refund. Luckily, they have a “sister” property 10 min away that I ubered back and forth to when I needed wifi. This allowed me to work in their communal spaces (so without privacy.) I would say skip moodhaus and book at their Dreamcatcher hotel instead. The neighborhood is fairly rundown and noisy here but the hotel is in a beautiful quiet residential block.

This property is absolutely stunning! It's way more beautiful and striking in person. I loved every second of my stay.

Beautifully redone, spacious room with a full kitchenette and private patio. The theme is really fun and colorful - plus I’ve never had a working record player in a hotel room before. Even ignoring the theme, the size, location, and amenities make it a steal for the price.
