Island View Hotel Bar Harbor

beautiful water view. Quiet, peaceful, well kept.

Location was great, the beds super comfortable, the bathroom and shower was super clean. You need a car ah also convenient for Bar Harbor en 15 20 minutes and Acadia Park. A plus, the view at the lake! Highly recommended and affordable!

This place has seen better days. The location is ideal, and the area to the back is beautiful. We were not told upon check in that the ice maker was broken (it was 94 degrees). The linens in the room were clean, but I would not walk barefoot on the rugs. One of the sliding glass doors would not open without incredible force. The curtains in both rooms were filthy, my lamp was falling apart, paint on the bathtub was peeling. Just needs an overhaul. The check in staff (David) was very nice and his space/building was lovely. The motel itself needs some serious TLC.

Location was great. Carpet always felt wet. Knats we constantly coming out of the bathtub. This property is under the same umbrella as holiday inn. Shame on them.

The Customer Service, communications, the greeting, and the lodging. We’re all perfect for last minute plans. We enjoyed our stay.

A-Z for every alphabet I can give you a terrible 1 liner feedback. Only good thing was skip alphabet 'H' as hot water was good through out the stay. Expedia has to reimburse for suggesting this poor hotel for our family. I might discontinue Expedia service after being associated for about 10 years now

Small and quaint, but clean and easy to get to.Nice that it is off the main road a bit. The floor level rooms were a little musty. But all in all a great stay.

Staff was awesome! Friendly helpful sent us to 2 great restaurants, room was clean, beds were very comfortable and room quiet. We would stay again. One night traveling stay over, easy check in and water view .

This hotel property feels like section 8 housing. The room was not very clean. There were multiple dead flies in the Bathroom, hairs in the bathtub, the tv was about to fall of the wall. The carpets were stained and felt gross under foot. The rooms were not restocked with coffee, tea or toiletries. All in all i world say to find another property to stay.
