- price is quite good for Skiathos - the apartment is cleaned daily, and towels are changed more or less every two days - 1st floor apartment with two balconies, each with sea and garden view, a table and two chairs; both in the shade for most of the day except in the morning - Bus stop at the end of the road which takes to the city in 5-10min (Koukounaries bus); otherwise it's a 20min walk using a secondary road parallel to the main one (which is has no sidewal and is quite dangerous) - very neat garden with a few seats - close to Megali Ammos beach and bars/restaurants

- the house is located on a very very steep road, at least 10m over the main road, and you have to walk about 70m to reach the house; also, it's a two-way road but has only one lane (so be carefull if you have a car) - the shower is completely open on one side and the bathroom floor gets easily wet - the bathroom door doesn't close properly - there is plenty of mosquitoes during the night but only the bedroom has a mosquito net, which is useless because it doesn't close - the air conditioning didn't work, and only the bedroom has it - the wi-fi doesn't work very well - the place can be quite windy, so you need to be carefull with the windows as they are not very sturdy; some doorstops should be added - a waste bin in the kitchen would be useful - the check-in was non-existent - there were some flyers with indications (wifi passwords, plumbing, ...) but were hidden in some drawers: it would be better to leave them in full sight - not a fault of the owners, but our neighbours were extremely loud in the middle of the night

The AC - old and couldn't work without the card key.

Beautiful garden, good AC and very comfortable bed. The room had a stove top and a kettle. The bathroom was clean.

To get to the hotel you have to go up a steep, narrow hill and it is 2 ways, so if you meet a car coming the opposite way, you have to reverse in a narrow road between 2 walls. The bed sheets had stains. The room was on the bottom floor and everyone passing could look into the room.

The host was super friendly, always ready to help. The location was excellent, at the 5th bus station, very close to the old town (25 min of walking, 5 min by car, 15 min by bus), 10 min away from the airport by car and 30 min by bus. Very close to the most popular beaches. The view was breathtaking, you have the sun and sea in front from the balcony and the montains in the back from the entrance. The room was decent, comfortable beds and pillows. They clean the room and change the sheets and towels every 2 days. The kitchinette well equipped for 3 adults.

The air conditioner was quite poor, couldn't handle the heat we had while staying there. The shower was very small and and curtain almost sticks to your body while showering. Also, that curtain starts to smell bad after 2 days. It would've been great if we had a hairdryer in the room and maybe an iron for our clothes too.

The cardio workout up the 1 in 2 hill from the main road and the 07:30 jack russell wake up call, so that one got the most out of the day. Shops and beach were close by, with a 15 min walk to the port or 30 min walk to the airport. View over the bay was nice along with a cool breeze when the doors on both sides of the apartment were open. Bus stop 5 was at the start of the hill that would take you to town or Banana Beach

wonderful garden, great view, nice shades to the windows, quiet place, up-hill (I actually enjoy having to do some sports after heavy eating), clean studio , everyday cleaning of the entire place. the cleaning lady was nice to help with some dishes as well, though it was definitely not her job. AC in the room, but it was not needed as the left side property is not too much in the sun. the right side building may require AC. the room offers the basic things you need - it was more than enough for us.

for the picky people - the shower is small and has a curtain that is way too close to the body and does not help keeping the water inside the shower .. hence , the bathroom floor will get wet.. but they clean it everyday, so it was not an issue for us.

An absolutely beautiful apartment in an amazing location. Couldn’t have asked for more. There is a bus stop at the bottom of the hill as well as a supermarket. It is a five minute walk to a beautiful beach, with bars and restaurants. The hosts were lovely and were happy to help us in anyway. The view from our apartment was gorgeous! Great value for money. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
