Inside No. 1 Retreat

The property was the first building on the site which made it very easy to access. The site was very quite and although not far from a main road you didn’t hear much traffic at all. The property itself has been decorated very well and is extremely homely with lots of added extras, such as a washer/dryer, dog treats, bath towels, blankets, the list goes on.

There is nothing we didn’t like. However, a bonus of a fenced in terrace/balcony would have been the perfect touch for our wondering dogs. We loved sitting on the sofa with all the doors open on a Sunny evening watching the women’s England final. the dogs sat nicely by the doors. we used the garden chairs to keep them in.

How smooth everything was and clean and was a lovely holiday home

Park was out of action as we had 2 kids. That was the sites issue not the owner

The entire place was spotless, there was so much to do around the area especially walking wise, Margret is really helpful and a wonderful character. The pond opposite has some ducks which are friendly. No dogs to be heard (even though there were dogs on site) and everyone on the site is responsible and respectful, really enjoyed our 5 night stay.
