Inside No. 1 Retreat

Everything thing. It was a lovley little place in a lovley area.

The property was very cosy, modern and clean, making for an extremely comfortable stay. It was also very spacious. There was no stone left unturned in terms of facilities, with plenty of pots, pans, cutlery and utensils, and a good amount of washing products. The lodge is situated in a quiet location, with not much around that is accessible with a pram. That being said, we did walk around Pine Lake and visited the Waters Edge Bar & Restaurant which was lovely. Kendal and Lancaster are only 20-30mins away by car, so it is easy to drive there if you wanted a day-trip! The host, Margaret, was very helpful and went above and beyond to ensure a smooth and pleasant stay. We loved staying here and making memories on our first holiday as a family of three. Thanks for having us!

Amazing stay. The place is absolutely stunning and has everything you could possibly need in a home away from home. The host was extremely helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate us and the home speaks for itself. It’s just beautiful We will definitely be coming back but also this place is the one to book if your looking for a spot to stay in for your trip to Lake District

Lovely stay, great lodge in great location. Lovely and clean, comfy beds. My little one lived the arrival of the ducks every day to watch through the window.
