Hotl Aparts Huddersfield Central

I was attending the Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival. The location is superb. Every event venue 5 to 15 minutes away. The train station was kess than 10 minutes away. Loads of restaurants, pub etc nearby and a very large Sainsbury's 5 minutes away. The bed was comfortable the duvet warm. Bed linen good and plenty of decent quality towels. Loads of hot water. Good shower and toiletries. It was very cold weather but it was easy to heat the bits of the apartment I used. Good WiFi. The remote "reception" responded quickly and helpfully. Great value.

Given what I needed, it was more odd than didn't like. The only TV was in a bedroom. There was no table in the kitchen or indeed much in the way of additional furniture like chairs, occasional or bedside tables etc. . A table for the TV, a sofa in the kitchen and another on a landing and of course beds were about it. Despite having a proper cooker lack of utensil would make it very difficult to cook a meal (that was never my intention). Small things: only one bin, in the kitchen. Couldn't switch the lights off and on in the bedroom without getting out of bed. No curtain for the sky light in the upstairs bedroom which I used. The stairs up were very steep. The upstairs bedroom has a slanted room and a low beam running above the bed.

Every thing was horrible

Property was big but a little tricky to find. I found the two front doors both unlocked and open, and the key code for the room already unlocked which made me feel unsafe. Also the room stank of smoke. It had been cleaned, bed was give, but few stains on the sofa.

Good location for what we needed

No hot water, was very basic

the property was dirty, stains all over the sofa & the bed, the tv didn’t work

Convenient, easy to find, central location, cheap and cheerful with everything that was required for a short stay.
