Excellent location, helpful staff, good breakfast!

Very nice but small room and not a lot of storage area for clothes. For me the bed was not comfortable as I am a side sleeper and the bed was hard. The breakfast was very good and the staff was very helpful. The location was great.

Lost item at the hotel. Someone stole my pajamas from my bedroom. On my first night, the room was unbearably hot, and they couldn’t adjust the temperature. They offered to move me to a different room the next day, so I packed everything. After my shower, I hung my pajama dress in the bathroom and completely forgot about it. That evening, once I was settled in the new room, I realized my pajama dress were missing. I immediately notified the staff, but they claimed no one had seen them. They never found them. I travel a lot and stayed in many hotels and have never lost anything—If I’ve ever left something behind, it has always been returned. This was a very unpleasant experience. It has now been almost two months, and no one has contacted me or taken any action. I was so disappointed that, on my way out, I even opened both my and my son’s suitcases at the front desk. I still don’t understand how they can simply tell me that no one saw my pajamas. It’s unbelievable. Based on this experience alone, I will NOT recommend this hotel and will choose to stay elsewhere in the future. The lack of accountability and follow-up is unacceptable, and this experience has left a very negative impression.

Highly recommend, great location and very nice hotel for good price

This is a lovely hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. The hotel itself weas very conveniently l9cated and very clean. The room was on the smaller side, but serviceable; however it had the oddest arrangement of closet and storage area. Near the front door, where one would expect the closet to be, was a drape that served no purpose. Yhere was a nice window, which opened for fresh air, which was nice. The drapes concealed the closet so well that we didn't find it till our 2nd day there, and the drapes didnt open to access it. Just not a very smart use of storage, which made the room cramped. It was a short stay so we made it work, but re- engineering the drapes would make this setup much more user-friendly. The staff, overall property and location more than made up for the awkward storage .

Staff is very accommodating/helpful. Outstanding location near sites, shopping and dining.

Wonderful staff and loved the location in historic Alfama. Rooms are small but they’re comfortable and worth it for the location.
