Mathew Street City Centre Apartments by Happy Days

The apartment was exceptionally clean, lots of towels, toiletries, great utensils and pans in the kitchen

The noise was unbearable even for us who enjoy music , we understand it's in the heart of the area but we've stayed on Matthew street in other apartments and it wasn't that extreme, next door apartment were fighting outside of our door on and off in the corridor which I went and told the guy to be quiet, the lovely lady manager when we were leaving did ask about the occupants and I told her that they'd being arguing on and off which for maybe other people would be quite intimidating

Too noisy on a night. Could hear music blasting out from nearby bars until 5am so poor nights sleep.

It had adequate facilities.

The location is situated above and around bars. Last night these were open until 0330hrs subsequent deliveries of beer barrels at 0500hrs didn’t make for a restful sleep. A £100 deposit charge was requested less than 24 hrs before stay. This was never mentioned in the booking at any previous point! As was there is no online facility to pay this to verify the vendor, which given fraud through cold calling, left me sceptical. We requested to drop our bags in the apartment, not to stay just leave them, a couple of hours earlier than the 3pm entry. This I was informed would have cost £40 in additional fees! Considering the departure time was 1100hrs this seems both excessive, and lacks in any consideration or goodwill towards the customer. The apartment itself is tired the laminate flooring is loose and the shower/toilet room sink took 10 minutes to drain.

Apartamento muy completo. Cocina totalmente equipada, camas muy cómodas, en pleno centro.

Como está en la calle de los pubs, es cierto que había ruido constante de música, nosotros como ya lo sabíamos, nos llevamos tapones para los oídos y dormimos estupendamente.
