"Good"

The location was very good for what we needed. The rooms size was ok, and the apartment was nice and tidy. Just a few details need addressing quickly for the stay to be satisfying.

No prior warning that the apartment block was currently a work site! Hadn't received a particular email allowing me to access the apartment block, so I had to contact someone called James, who was rude during the phone call. The lock to the apartment was temperamental, so I had trouble entering the accommodation. The lighting in the bathroom was poor. One light didn't work at all. The other flashed on and off for 30 minutes before illuminating the shower area. The toilet seat was broken so badly that it could cause injury. There was a lack of drinking glasses. I didn't receive the QR code as stated in an email for the free parking, so I had to pay £30.50.

"Shocking"

The nicest thing about the apartment was leaving in the morning.

To start off with the owner “James” is disgusting to speak too, he blows you off and acts as if him speaking to you is the biggest inconvenience in the world, he will be blatantly rude to you over the phone. The property is in a very bad state, there is an extremely foul smell in the unit aswell, it smells as though pot noodles have been trodden into the carpet and it just lingers. The flooring in the unit is horrific and looks as if it’s never been cleaned, room requires a fresh lick of paint due to the what looks like foot prints and grease prints on the wall, there is mould in the shower of the bathroom. The apartment is described as deluxe but the only thing about this that was “deluxe” was the toilet paper and even that wasn’t dulex. Now on to the bed, if you are below 5’5 or above your out of luck, this bed is clearly only designed for people on the relatively smaller side, if your 6’0 or above it looks like you’ll be sleeping on the sofa much like I had too. Overall £175 is much better spent elsewhere, hope this review helps. Ps lift the key up as you use it, if you call James he will tell you, that you need to put the key in upside down apparently, this is false as with most keys this key will only go in one way.

"Full building active construction site, don’t get deposit back, staff are horrible, full of dust, can’t use balcony unle"

Nothing absolute scam

This is a scam, been asking for my deposit back for weeks just keep getting lied to, full building is a active construction site, be prepared to be woke up by heavy drilling meters away from bedroom, can’t use balcony unless you want to make construction worker friends, the staff have a disgusting attitude with you, was sneezing all night cause of dust, come here if you want to waste your money.

They have taken a deposit of £100.00 but not returned it. The deposit was only security. WHY HAS IT NOT BEEN RETURNED

"Wouldn’t stay here again"

I’ve stayed in many places I have to to be honest and say I did not like anything

The apartment is very small, the price is high for such a small place. Balcony is very small. Floors are dirty and there is a smell in the apartment. Most of all which absolutely ruined my trip was the bed. I have a bad back and this bed is so soft my back was sinking in. Floor is creaky lol not just creaky feels like the floor is screaming. This is supposed to be a luxury apartment I can surely say there is no luxury at all. I spend my time working a lot helping patients with serious injuries and respect is a big thing. This host is very rude. I hope one day he gains some manners

"Great location"

The location was great however the building work was not ideal.

The property desperately needs some maintenance and updating, the description of deluxe apartment is slightly misleading, its average at best! All this aside we had a nice weekend, also the information regarding checking in on the day could be helpful if acquired a little earlier saves multiple messages (unanswered) & phone calls.

"Bad"

Location and apartment layout

Main issue was we booked a deluxe apartment with a balcony. As soon as we arrived I rang the company and booking. com to alert them that the balcony was blocked off and this was not luxury. Company disputed this and said we had booked "NO BALCONY." I asked to be moved.The Company would not move us and would only give money back if I cancelled on the booking.com site and if they were able to re let it.I could not risk this. I have many emails from booking.com. and company to prove we did indeed book a balcony. This was in no way a luxury apartment it had poor quality furnishings.Stretch cover on the settee.Large plant almost dead. Towels grey and hard.Some sockets hanging from the wall.Ironing board very burnt and ripped.Door looked like someone had tried to break in.This all sounds very picky but photos would back these comments. Construstion work Mon to fri 8am till 5pm at each window and balcony which would not open more than a couple of ins.Company had not told us of the work in progress. We have videos to show the workmen and drilling noise . I have Contacted the owners as they asked for a review and to be contacted first if there was anything we were not happy with .I did this and sent my evidence re the above isses. No reply was received. I then messaged again to say I was disappointed not to hear from them and would now do a review.This prompted an immediate response.James said if I did a 10 / 10 review he would see if the team would review my email. I emailed back , I said I was not happy with the response and would not do a 10/ 10 review I asked if they had a complaints procedure.I have had no response. My advice would be on this occasion, maybe consider the negative reviews as they are likely the true ones.
