Steigenberger Hotel Doha

Loved the hotel, the rooms are super big and so clean! The service form absolutely everyone from reception, to housekeeping to room service it was all 10/10. The location is also perfect as it’s a 5 min walk from the main red metro line. Making it easy to get to the main city and the airport

hotel design is superb, room features also are amazing bathtub,rainshower, automatic toilet bowl. but during the time of our visit the pool and playground are on maintenance which should be mentioned in agoda, because i will not book if its not available. we are doing staycation to feel the resort vibes of the place, too lazy to go to other hotel to use their pool like 5 mins drive away. i rate 3 because, we had dinner with my sister as our guest, the crew said the buffet is 200 and it will be 50% off if in house guest, that would be 100 if ever.. but when i paid for my sister, the bill was 400qr minus 50% is 200, which i thought thats really the price of it. but when i checked in mybook for the real price of the buffet is 200qr and not 400qr...in short they didnt give me 50% discount..they just showed that they give me 50% off because they put the price as 400qr. their prices is conflicting for me, or didnt just understand the pricing..i should have checked the prices first before inviting someone with us for dinner.for me and husband, our dinner was included in our staycation package. i mean its ok to pay but their prices are conflicting.

It was a good experience to have an Asian buffet, the taste of the foods they have it was satisfied our taste..Its highly recommended to try there Asian buffet every Friday ...

Very good rooms, delay in check-in

The stay was ok however walls are paper thin and can hear other people’s business which was uncomfortable, staff at valet and front of the building before entering (security) are rude!. Complained regarding a large leak from sink and toilet and no help was issued and resulted to myself tripping and injuring my foot and neck badly. Bathroom was very out dated and looked unhygienic and dirty!!

I had one of the worst experiences trying to make a reservation at Steigenberger Doha. My husband and I were planning our honeymoon, but the customer service was so poor that we decided to cancel our trip altogether. When I called the hotel, a staff member named Kristina answered. Her tone was unprofessional, and the information she gave was inconsistent. I asked to be transferred to the reservations department, but she placed me on hold for over 5 minutes, only to send me to the restaurant by mistake. The woman at the restaurant was at least polite and told me I had been transferred incorrectly. After being placed on hold again, I was reconnected to Kristina. When I asked why I was sent to the wrong department and made to wait so long, she raised her voice, stuttered through excuses, and then hung up on me without any warning. I tried calling back several times but was completely ignored. For a 5-star hotel, this kind of service is unacceptable. Long holds, being transferred to the wrong department, no accountability, and ending the call abruptly? Completely unprofessional. This was supposed to be our first trip to Doha, and it was ruined before it even started. The management team owes guests a proper explanation. Kristina, in particular, needs comprehensive training in customer service. This kind of experience should never happen especially not at a hotel that claims to offer luxury hospitality.

All style no substance! Booked this place for a few days whilst in Doha. The interior and exterior is very aesthetic however that’s where everything good ends. Service is very poor, at check in and in general. The breakfast is abysmal! The buffet has very limited variety of food which is mediocre in quality at best. The entire place is packed and so so chaotic in the morning- perfect way to ruin your morning peace. They ask guests to make their own coffee using basic coffee machines which tastes burnt and watered down- when you ask the staff to make you a fresh coffee you’re greeted with attitude and sass, and then end up waiting about 20minutes for a decent coffee. The service is poor, the staff have an attitude problem and are very understaffed for the number of guests. This place definitely does not deserve to be a 5 star hotel. Would definitely avoid if you’re looking for a pleasant stay.
