Great stay! I was like we were located in a quiet n’hood in the middle of the city! The rooftop restaurant was great for afternoon cocktails. Staff were all very nice. We have enjoyed all our Thompson property stays!

Well. My review has been deleted twice now even though the window says “Draft saved.” This feels just as infuriating and absurd as my recent stay at the Thompson. Yeah, more than a little salty. Cute hotel, room was clean. No fan in the bathroom. Didn’t spend much time in our room since check in took forever (new employee?) and we had to change for an event. Came back to room around 1am. I was sleep deprived and DESPERATE after flying cross country and attending wedding festivities. I cannot overstate how excited I was to SLEEP after the reception. Unfortunately, there were multiple bright lights around the room that managed to get through my eye mask— most especially a blinking orange light near my side of the bed. I prayed and hoped for sleep but the blinking light just made it impossible. Impotent and enraged, I finally called guest services for help around 5am. Redirected and told to wait. Waited like 20 mins and started to feel even more enraged because I NEEDED TO SLEEP and couldn’t because of some stupid indicator light that I had zero control over!!! Hung up, called again. Rephrased the issue to the stupid automated assistant that I didn’t realize was a robot until my second call. Never got a hold of a person. Finally gave up. Dragged a bag to cover the light and hung clothes over the thermostat because that was stupidly bright too. Unfortunately woke up husband and bruised my shin. Never got a call back to our room. Husband had the wisdom to request a later checkout (which they extended from 11am to 12pm) so I was able to sleep a grand total of 3 hours before we had to rush out for our flight. My advice for Hyatt: ditch the automated assistant and just have a recording that says, “Sorry, we are closed. We answer the phone between (insert times). Call 911 for life threatening emergencies. Thanks for choosing hyatt.” It would honestly be less of a f*** y** than what I experienced. Or leave some tape in the room so we can cover up your janky electrical situation? Leave a selection of eye masks for guests? My advice for guests: don’t stay here if you can help it. If you must stay here, check all the outlets/wall plates that look like speakers or electrical things and make sure nothing is blinking. Bring multiple eye masks and hope for the best. And don’t bother calling guest services between 1-6am. Good luck!

Jayden, Cray, fiona were amazing great staff group to work together !! I’ve been here other nights and the staff wasn’t as amazing as them. Great teamwork and work ethic !! I NEED THEM EVERY TIME. So amazing. So great I literally need this. Staff crew every single time when they work together, they never fail me.

I LOVE Jayden, Cray & Fiona. I’ve been here other nights and the staff was slightly rude. These three were amazing. Worked super well together, were so kind, efficient, and made incredible drinks. I want to come any night they are here! Amazing. I want to come when they are all here together.

I stayed here for a conference. This hotel was very clean and the concierge was super friendly and helpful. The room was cute,clean and modern. The room had a wonderful thoughtful layout. They let me use the house car which was very convenient! Overall great experience. My only issue is that every morning there was a loud sound that occurred every 45 seconds. I’m not sure if it was the elevator or what it was but it was 7 hard thumps that almost rattled the room.

Thank you for always creating such a welcome experience with incredible service and fabulous guest rooms. I am always so impressed with how helpful and accommodating everyone is...and thankful for such a fast turn around at valet!!! Location is amazing and I will look forward to returning during the next visit to ATL!

I recently stayed at the Thompson and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. The reception staff seemed completely clueless upon my check out, they somehow managed to charge me five consecutive times for a single minibar snack. This error has left me $70 out of pocket, and despite multiple attempts to resolve the issue, the hotel has been reluctant to offer any real assistance or reimbursement. For a hotel that presents itself as a quality establishment, the lack of basic competence and customer service is shocking. I would strongly advise future guests to double-check their bills and be prepared for little help if anything goes wrong. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

I liked the bars/ restaurant. Needs a snack area. That would hit it off. Not just those snacks in the room but an area where you can purchase a different variety of snacks.

- The property is exceptionally well-designed - Great in room dining and restaurant/bar program

- The rooftop restaurant is too frequently leased out to private parties during the weekends (they probably should limit the frequency to small weddings and biz events etc as this clogs the parking and it’s just too much drama with noise, random ppl, etc)
