Didn’t have breakfast but the hotel and rooms were amazing so quiet took my wife for her birthday and she absolutely loved it

I could have done with a bigger bed 6”2 I am but didn’t really matter

Stylish stay that felt luxe. Great breakfast choice and food was delicious. Very helpful staff and loads of gluten free options for the coeliac in our party. Made to feel very welcome by all staff.

Breakfast was great but at peak time, whilst staff were working their socks off there were queues and it felt like they needed more people to be working. Family room was generous enough for one night but wouldn’t recommend for lengthier stay.

The location was excellent, the room was clean and very comfortable, and the building has been converted beautifully from its former use. I also liked the little extra touch of including information about the inmate who once occupied the cell.

We only visited the restaurant once for breakfast. The room, which was converted from the old chapel, was beautiful and full of character. However, we did feel that £25 per person for breakfast was quite expensive. It would have been helpful if the price had been clearly listed on the menu or mentioned before we were seated.

Beautifully converted hotel, room was clean and spacious. Very friendly stuff, both at reception and in the restaurant. Complimentary EV charging was a very pleasant unexpected surprise.

There was a distinctive smell from the drains in the bathroom every morning, which I hope was not supposed to be a part of the "staying in a jail" experience 😆

Such a cool building, staff excellent. Stunning rooms, Food lovely, loved 😍 our time, we will definitely be back x

Only gripe is the bathroom light, not great for doing make up or hair. And my husband complained about the size of the parking slot lol
