Clayton Hotel Manchester City Centre

I recently stayed two nights at the Clayton in Manchester city centre and cannot speak highly enough of the team here. From the moment something wasn't quite right with my room, the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable — seamlessly arranging a room change while I was out, having everything perfectly set up on my arrival back, key card ready and all. It felt genuinely effortless on my end, which only happens when a team really cares. A special mention to Karen and Emmanuel, who both checked in personally to make sure my stay was going well. Karen was meticulous in making sure every detail was sorted before I even walked through the door, and Emmanuel's warmth and attentiveness throughout the evening made me feel like a valued guest. That level of genuine care is rare and it made all the difference. The hotel itself is lovely, but it's the people that make it exceptional. I'll absolutely be back.

Modern hotel in a good location, good sized rooms bigger than most other hotels. Can't fault this place and would definitely stay again also our booking included breakfast and again can't fault

The air conditioning was centrally controlled. This would have been acceptable during normal temperatures but we were staying during an intense heatwave

Very clean, location was good. Staff was very helpful especially Karen!

It was nice and clean with modern facilities in a good location in the city.

As you can check in online or using the screens in reception, you don’t get told things from the staff. We booked a reservation at the restaurant but ended up eating at the bar without realising until afterwards, as the staff didn’t have the opportunity to explain things such as the restaurant wasn’t on the ground floor.
