The house we stayed in was quite old, but the number of bedrooms and bathrooms and the updated kitchen served our needs quite well. Also, the grounds are beautiful and the view of the river is so beautiful. Great advantage to have a restaurant inside the property. The food was good. We visited Sutton dam and had a great day enjoying nature.Sutton is a beautiful small town and the Elk River Hotel is a great place to stay if you are living/traveling through the area.

"Adorable Local Hideout!"

Overall wonderful experience! The glamping dome was cozy and clean with a well functioning AC unit and comfortable bed. Breakfast was a delicious quiche with sausage, potatoes, and an orange. I was just expecting a typical scrambled egg or waffle but I was pleasantly surprised with the offerings. Great stay for couples!

The dome tent was a new experience for us, we are not campers. It was clean and the setup was spacious, comfortable. Felt like being in a tree house as the deck we were on was encompassing a tree.

The sound on the rain falling all night was so loud because of the plastic roof, that it was a little like water torture, I needed ear plugs. Also, the town was a little creepy, but what can you do. We were renting on a Monday night and not much open around town, went to local grocery so we'd have something to eat that night and in the morning.

The property is cool old building. The carriage house we stayed in was good not great. Property could be great with better care. Breakfast wasn't until 8:30am so we had to leave and eat elsewhere.
