Elk River Hotel

It was great to stay in an historic hotel and learn about the history of the property and the town. Loved the ornate beauty of the rooms and the king sized bed was comfortable. The option of breakfast in the dining room was a plus. Emily was sweet and eager to please the guests.

I thoroughly enjoyed the room, it was nice and cozy with a beautiful wooden ceiling and the bed was so comfortable.

Room smelled musky and moldy, had to get a candle from front desk. Bathroom floor, tub and sink had black hair every where. Booked for two nights only stayed one .

Loved this place! Beautiful, with friendly hosts & very accomodating! Love how the character of the home has been maintained. Clean & definitely somewhere we would come back to!

Quiet. Nicely redone old home

Super nice glamping dome. First time staying in one. The town of Sutton has lots of history. Very quiet area. Will be back again.

Wish they would have had more dining hours and a bar area for sitting outside to enjoy tje summer.

We stayed in the Yurt, and it was fantastic! It was beautiful, clean and incredibly fun!

Older house turned bnb not far from flat woods monster museum and big foot museum. Nicest place in the area of like 500 people. Food decent and prices okay. House creaks like it's old which it is. Gorgeous wood work. Nice outdoor places. Overall happy to stay on our way through WV.

Good location to enjoy the Elk River and Lake nearby. Sutton as a town is trying to revitalize, and this hotel having a restaurant is very important. Meals were well prepared and thoughtful, and concerned about dietary restrictions. The historic hotel is full of architectural details of a more gilded age. We stayed on the Rainflower Suite and it was a good value for the price by far. Excellent value for the money.
