Indianhead Ironwood Motel

The room was shiny, and all the walls were varnished plywood. It was the ugliest room I’ve ever stayed in, and the only good thing was the bed was comfortable. The check in at was at a kiosk, and it was very difficult. I have stayed here before but I will never ever stay here again there are only three cars in the parking lot the whole night so that should tell somebody something.

Our room was right next to highway and with a window air conditioner made traffic noise more noticeable, good thing it was a weekend. I had to unplug the cable box every time we turned on the tv in order for it to work. I would have liked to have had a information sheet on what channels were available. No continental breakfast which is understandable due to the age of the motel. Other than that room was clean. If you're just looking for a place to lay your head, you will be fine.

Older property but efforts have been made to modernize.

There was no one in the office, we had to use a kiosk to check in. The bathroom was dirty, hair and dirt on toilet, sink, shower and walls. We stayed for several days here and when we needed something, toiletries, towels, etc. No one answered the phone, no phone in room, voicemail was full for two days, had to Walk to the office to leave a note for someone onsite to refill items. The kiosk wasn't working either, we didn't have WiFi in our room for 3 of the 4 days. And our room was at the end, right by a busy road, so it was noisy. I would suggest finding a room somewhere else. Room was non-refundable and we booked online based on good Yelp reviews. Very dissatisfied.

I hated the virtual check in. I been staying at this property for several years when on vacation. The price per night has gone up with the quality of service dropping dramatically. I never saw an employee the entire stay. Probably will not go back.

Loved the place. Friendly owner, quite guests and convenient to all things Ironwood. Will definitely be staying again.

Very clean, quite

I didn't like that there wasn't an ice machine. It was a remote person that checked us in. Not very personable.

I got there at 8:40pm. The website said that the office was open until 10pm, but a sign on the door said 9pm. Still, I was there before both times. I had called the day before to find out what to do if I got there after 10pm, because my original plans were to get there late. The front desk person said someone would be here until 10pm, but that an email with my room assignment and code would automatically get sent at 8pm. Well, no one was in the office. There was a kiosk, but it wasn't working. I didn't get an email with my room assignment. There was a terrible thunderstorm raging, and my kids were in the car. I tried for half an hour, hoping that someone would come at 9pm to lock up the office. But no one showed up. The kiosk wouldn't connect. I finally called Hotels.com for help, and they couldn't find anyone to talk to either. I eventually got booked at another hotel in the area, and finally got my kids settled in at almost 11pm. I will absolutely never attempt to stay at this hotel again.

There were approximately 5 rooms occupied and on our end we were 3 in a row instead of spread out. The other 2 were very spread out.
