The property itself is beautiful! It’s nestled up in the mountains with an amazing view. The lobby is beautiful, clean and very aesthetic. The overall vibe is so calm

Nothing comes to mind that we didn’t like. When we arrived at the train station we called the shuttle service to pick us up. They were very accommodating with pick up and drop off. You can’t really walk to the property though. It is a pretty steep walk

Gen Hakone Gora is an unreal experience. If I had a chance to live her with all its beautiful views, amazing meals, and fantastic hospitality, I would do it in a heartbeat. I will forever advocate friends and family to stay here when the opportunity arises. The cleanliness, pristine property and rooms, and the calm environment was a cleanse of the soul unlike any other.

Couldn’t say a bad thing about the experience.

This place is lovely. The view is amazing!! The room we had was spacious and very well appointed. The food exceeded expectations and was plentiful and delicious. The hotel is very well located to see the many attractions of the area - very close to the bus station and the hotel has a shuttle bus to take you to the sites that are close by. The staff are welcoming and couldn't be more helpful and eager to please.

We absolutely loved the venue. The staff was amazing and the room had a gorgeous view.

I wish when they asked for dietary allergies we could have seen the full menu to be able to tweak a little more based on our food preferences. It was still a great experience!

Location is great. Open air museum is just 5 minutes by taxi or hotel car.

Dinner was not the best. But you can reserve a nearby Italien restaurant.
