Village Period Cottage Next to a Idyllic Stream

Excellent value for money. A lovely period cottage. Central position in the village.

No bannister on the stairs!! Needs some tlc.

The location was excellent.

Although the cottage was old and traditional, it did need some work doing on it to improve it.

Sofa could be more comfortable

it was small and cosy and quite with own private small garden which was perfect for our little doggie. loved the stable back door ..and nice powerful shower. in heart of village and parking perfect

four poster bed sqeeky when you turned over and depth of sink hurts back when washing up. also bed sheets should be white and they were not pressed so looked like someone been sleeping in them. need a rail to come down stairs otherwise wall going to get dirty where people keen on wall or use it when they come down

A comfy cottage in an attractive setting. Off road parking. 2 Pubs and Co oP convenience store all within a very short walking distance.

garden is a little overgrown and could do with some TLC

Great location, fenced in garden perfect for our little boat dog who doesn’t have a garden usually. Lovely sitting in the kitchen with back door open. Bed was to die for. Shop and pub and chip shop on your door step.

I couldn’t turn the heating off. But I should have messaged the owner and asked as they had said to message if we needed anything.

What an idyllic, beautifully placed cottage. I work all over the county, this rates as one of the nicest places I’ve stayed as regards area and quaintness of the house, in my opinion it’s very suited for the ‘romantic couples’. sort of stay, even though I stayed myself. The cottage was clean and generally well maintained, yes it had a few sticking cupboard doors etc as some have mentioned in reviews, but its an old cottage and in my opinion it adds to the 'quaint' feel. I thought the general feel of the place and area was as most would imagine an ‘old English village’ life to be ….. and a very good pub just over the road.

I could not really fault anything.
