"This really was lovely and we would stay again!"

9.0

This really is a beautifully presented cottage in a lovely location. It’s comfortable and clean. Ideal for a couple, and for dogs. The shower is amazing!! Location is great, near a chip shop, pub and the Co-Op.

Just needs a few tweaks, and it’s all been mentioned in feedback from people who have stayed before us. The additions to this would be the rug, it’s need regripping at the corners to hold to the floor. A draught excluder for the front door, and blinds in the living room and the kitchen would be a good addition for privacy.

"A great wee place situated in a lovely village."

9.0

It's a traditional terraced cottage with loads of character to enjoy. The fixtures and fittings can be a little quirky but you soon get over it. We enjoyed the pubs in the village, especially the Half Moon which is a real pleasure to visit. There's a handy dog walking field on Dyer's Lane 2 minutes up the road. Highly recommended altogether.

If you can cope with the odd wonky fixture in a period cottage with all manner of traditional features, you'll enjoy your stay here

A lovely quaint cottage in the centre of Wolston. It had everything I wanted, including a private parking space at the rear. The pub was just across the road, the Co-op and a chemist a minute's walk from there.

Just a suggestion: perhaps add some face cloths to the piles of towels.

"Cosy cottage in a good location."

7.0

Great location and very quiet. Good comms regards booking etc. Chip shop, pub and a reasonable Coop all within 2 minute walk. Bed very comfy and linen fresh. Really nice touch having wood burner ready to go. Very cosy!

Central heating never really got warm. Thermostat didn't seem to make a lot of difference. However wood burner made up for it. Biggest issue was parking as neighbour's car prevented access to front or rear space unless you drove over verge. Did speak with them but not very helpful.

"Despite the above it was a practical solution for our situation and we did enjoy it."

7.0

Cosy. host is brilliant he went out of his way to accommodate our toddler granddaughter. Great enclosed space for dog.Lovely local pub and local residents.

It’s a little tired needs a bit of TLC. Garden /n pond needs a tidy up. Parking is an issue as access to back is tight and not helped by other properties parking large cars outside.

"Lovely property we enjoyed our stay"

Central location in village

The parking access was very narrow which made it tricky to access . There was no handrail on the stairs which I would have appreciated for safety
